I’ve been seeing Dr Danielle Florida for the last 5 years. She’s so professional, punctual, kind and empathetic. I used to see her Dad who was also a doctor when I was a child with my family. She always helps me with my bipolar issues and my life in general. I couldn’t recommend her high enough. And her staff are great too.

Dr Florida has been treating me for nearly ten years, and has saved my life countless times. She has gone out of the way to be there for me on my mental health journey time and time again, even when I moved away and needed Telehealth appointments. She is kind, compassionate, gentle and the best doctor I've ever had.

Breaks up families and relationships, she puts patients on medications illegally for addictions they don't have, all to make money. No advice or counselling given to either patient or family in 8 years. A terrible experience with terrible results. She is insulting, demeaning and unhelpful to the point of being damaging.

Dr Florida is quite simply the best psychiatrist in Sydney, if not Australia. She is compassionate, knowledgeable and very committed to her patients. If not for her I would have given up a long time ago.

Dr Florida literally saved my life in 2017. She managed to get me sectioned when there was literally no other options during a manic episode and although being in a public psych ward was traumatic, she absolutely did the right thing. She has been nothing but supportive and kind in every interaction she has with me, still the only mental health professional I've ever trusted. I was on a lot of meds for a few years, and decided to stop taking them. She listened to my concerns about the side effects of long term medication and has agreed to respect my decision because she recognises my mindset is one of a person willing to take control of their life. My life now is still difficult, I have immense traumas and stresses to face on a daily basis, but it is also far beyond my wildest dreams from the first day I saw her as a depressed 25 year old. I owe her my life, and all the amazing opportunities I now have in front of me. She is expensive, but she is worth every cent on the condition that you are the kind of person who wants to change and wants a life that is actually yours. Can't recommend her highly enough.

Dr Florida has helped saved my daughters life. My daughter is now in hospital and being treated correctly due to Dr Florida’s expertise in Complex PTSD, ADHD & Bipolar comorbidity. Danielle Florida is the best psychiatrist in Sydney. She is kind, empathetic, clinical, effective, punctual and knowledgeable. She has a broad knowledge of anti-psychotics (atypical) and genuinely knows the best one to give to the patient at hand. If at any stage I wasn't tolerating a medication she did not insist on continuance. She is careful with her dosages and cross-titrations. She changes one medication at a time (as all good psychiatrists should do because that is the only way of knowing if the medication at hand is the culprit). She is from the school of minimum effective dose. Knowledge aside the compassion she has shown me is absolutely second to none. Additionally, if she believes a voluntary admission is required she goes out of the way to ensure that you are comfortable and at the best possible location to promote healing. She takes a holistic approach and if you request some DBT, CBT or ACT she can duly provide that as well. She has saved my life on many occasions. If you are up in the air about going to a psychiatrist, hesitant, worried about taking medication or just genuinely anxious about have a mental health condition go and see Danielle she will assuage your fears and anxieties. I cannot recommend this doctor enough.
