I had been suffering with significant symptoms and abnormal blood results for 6 months and had waited for my appointment for 3 months hoping for some answers. I was not listened to, felt dismissed and told “many people have these markers in their blood…it doesn’t mean anything”. My GP and I were hoping for something better than that. Almost $500 later I walked out of his rooms and cried in frustration! No empathy, arrogance, terrible bedside manner and a waste of my time and money. I will not be returning.

Dr Andrew Teichtahl is a very knowledgeable, empathetic and caring specialist - he is very thorough with his investigations to really understand the underlying issues and also other conditions. He is always accessible and having the option of both face to face and telehealth is great. Highly recommend Andrew to anyone who has been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis.

Andrew is my 4th Rheumatologist, and I'm so glad I persevered in getting second opinions until I finally found him, as he is head and shoulders above the rest in terms of knowledge, empathy and professionalism. I feel incredibly confident that I am in safe hands with him, and if I ever have a question his staff are able to get in touch with him and get back to me quickly. He works almost every day of the week which baffles me. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great doctor.

I went to Dr Andrew for Rheumatoid Arthritis. He asked me about why I was puffing when I walked in the room at our first consultation. He focused more on my heart, sent me to hospital THAT DAY and three days later I had a tripple bypass. He saved my life - thank you Dr Andrew

This so called "Specialist" has an overly inflated opinion of himself. He was given 18 months & many costly visits to get my autoimmune issues sorted. He began well...but as time went on he became incredibly dismissive of all factors. Unwilling to listen to valid points & highly arrogant. Appointments became rushed. My last appointment was grossly overcharged for which he said it didn't matter coz I would be reimbursed more from Medicare. Pull your head in Andrew Teichtahl. Time to become professional in the way you go about caring for people!

Not impressed with this service at all, all my visits were telehealth so appointments were on a Saturday but you never had a specific time could be 10 in the morning or 7pm at night so I had to wait around all day for him, prescribed me a drug that made my psoriasis flare and said that I definitely had lupus then refused to give my signed proof of this diagnosis. Uncaring, god complex, waste of time

Dr Andrew has listened to my concerns, organised appropriate testing and was able to diagnose me quickly. I have seen a number of specialists and what I have particularly liked is how he has communicated with my other specialists. He seems extremely knowledgeable and always explains things to me in a way I can understand.

A waste of time and money, I would not recommend. I left with no new information or diagnosis, just sent of for more blood tests which were conducted prior to the consult by my GP and no new information, no physical examination either. I was puzzled by the hostile post consult letter, discharging me from his care because I did not want to see this doctor again. Someone else mentioned this doctor being a money spinner, I agree, I got nothing out of this consult.
