Needs to work on empathy , is very rude to patients with mental health

I’ve been seeing him for a few years, he doesn’t care how I’m feeling, he acts like he doesn’t want to listen to what you’re even saying, like he doesn’t believe me. I feel worse and even more helpless when I leave his office. His office staff are great, they’re great with prescriptions, but he doesn’t care what I’m going through, he says I’m being “poor me, poor me” when all I’m asking for is help. I told him, him saying that makes me feel he doesn’t believe me, that he doesn’t care. And he said sorry, brushed me off and said he has to go and didn’t want to listen to me anymore. I just had an appointment again hoping this time he’d change, but he made me feel worse, I’m having a panic attack as we speak, I can’t sleep because like I said I’m more helpless than before I saw him. Like now I’m really not going to get better. Now I’m really not going to get any help, not through him anyway. Changing doctors.

Dr. Smith is a wonderful professional. He is kind and sensible. He listens and is compassionate. He is conservative with his medicine management and always protects his patients.
I highly recommend him.

I'm a patient of Dr. Smith. I find him to be aloof and condescending. He berated me because I admitted to drug addiction. He called me a liar and acted like I've manipulated him. How's that? I'm an addict. I was mystified. I take responsibility for myself however do not need to be put down when I need help. I'm changing drs.

I hae been seeing Dr. Smith for two years now and find him very caring and compassionate. If fact, when I was recovering from surgery, he called he at home becuase I could not make it into the office. How many doctor's do that? Dr. Smith is an excellent clinician, and will continue to work with you until syptoms are effectively managed. His office staff person, Sandy, will go above and beyond to help with insurance and perscription issues. She is also great about getting you worked in Dr. Smith's schedule or called back if need be. His office is in a very nice location and he offers evening apointments so you don't have to take off from work to see him. I caqnnot say enough about how professional, kind, caring and thorough Dr. Smith is and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Stay away from this doctor! Very unsympathetic and uncaring. Will not make you feel better and will just make you feel worse. I don't know why he's practicing. He obviously does not care about people.
