Great Endo as well as Primary Care Dr. He looks at the entire patient not just the problems you present to him. He also wants to educate his patients.

Excellent physician who is very knowledgable. Progressive medicine. Aggressive approach. Recognises the big picture, not just singular symptoms. Diligent. Helpful and will try alternative solutions rather than continuing with treatment that doesn't work. A personality that comes with intelligence. If you are looking for someone to hold your hand and to be sweet, go to a pediatrician. He is honest and upfront, not always what you want to hear, but need to hear. Highly recommend.

Excellent doctor for someone with diabetes as an underlying problem. My mother has been helped by Dr. Tamayo - who keeps on her about losing weight, testing at alternate times each day, using a "real" log, and watching her medications and possible interactions. He speaks to her in language she can understand and speaks courteously to both of us. I highly recommend him!

Great doctor who really cares about his patients. Is very thorough and meticulous, especially when trying to pin down a tough diagnosis.
