Dr. Barash was my children's doctor until they were out of college! They did not want to leave him! He was ALWAYS available for them, even on Father's Day
.....he made a hospital visit to see my son. Yes he has a dry sense of humor..... So what, he is funny... The children are well cared for by him. I have refered many people to him... no complaints.....I would never hesitate to recommend him.

We went to this doctor once about a year ago. While we were there we were very disgusted in the way that the office looked, when I think Doctor I think clean... This was very far off from what I was expecting! On our first visit my son was age 4 months, we scheduled his 6 month exam that day thinking okay we will give them another chance. We had just moved to the area so we had a lot going on and I said to my wife, does our son have an appointment this week. she said let me call and check. The doctors office was like yep he had one the previous Saturday and you missed it. I was shocked that they did not do confirmation calls, or even tried following up with us to see if we wanted to reschedule or make sure our son was okay. After this we decided that they were definitely not the Doctor for us. (don't get me wrong I know it was on us to, to also know when our appointment was, but most doctors do a call before hand especially when you make the appointment two months in advance. Now for the thing that really blew my mind. My wife's brother still attends this doctors office and while he was in on his last visit the doctor disclosed to my wife's father that we had an outstanding bill owed. First of all there should not have been any bill owed if the doctors office submitted the bill to the health care plan like they were suppose to. When we first moved here I left my job with my previous employer not knowing which insurance to put it on I gave them my previous employers insurance card. Well I guess the claim was declined on that, so then 8 months later they finally contact me for the bill. I explained to them that I think they put it on the wrong insurance and gave them the right one. I received a call back from them saying you did not have insurance at that time through that company. I got my insurance company on the phone and had the doctors office on the phone and the insurance company told them I did have insurance at that time. They were told to run it again. now almost 4 months later my Father in law is brought into the situation by being told your son in law and daughter owe us money. My understanding is that is not lawful to discuss someone else finance with anyone other then patient or patients payer, which my father in law is neither. So I meet them in this office that again is a disgusting office, and ask the lady why if it was "declined" again from the insurance was I not contacted. Her response, "not our responsibility". Then she proceeds to tell us you can submit it now to the insurance we are not going to do it. This office other then breaking my privacy is the LAZIEST most UNCLEAN, UNPROFESSIONAL, atmosphere I have ever been in. To what a previous comment said they are very quick to when they are wrong and do not want you to prove them wrong to throw you out of the office.

Dr. Barash is an excellent doctor who gives your child his complete attention. He never shies away from off-hours contact, and will always squeeze in appointments when needed.

I have full trust in his opinions and don't mind his dry sense of humor. He just doesn't handle parents with the same kid gloves he uses for our children.

Is a very condecending and aroant man. I was having speach and language delays and he didn't acknowledge it. I switched to Dr. Gilbert dick on 173 EShore Road When I went to Dr. Barash's office to use the bathroom and I met him. I told him my name and he said he had to think about because he didn't recongnize my face. He didn't ask How are you? How is your family? How's school? I went to Dr. Barash again and he noticed me when I was curious what his office looked like and was looking around. I walked out and he said if you ever come back, I'm calling the police.

To say this Doctor is carcastic, condescending and dismissive of parents' concerns about their children would be the greatest understatement. I can recall having an emergency(Breathing issue) with our newborn in the middle of the night; he was so cold and annoyed at being contacted in the middle of night. He blamed me for making the child "panicky". I am glad I did not listen to his advice to "calm down". As it turned out, our child could have suffocated. Thank God we transferred the child's files the very next day to a warmer, friendlier and caring doctor. This guy is very impatient with the average patient as he's treated some stars' children in the past..D Strawberry, Gooden etc...While his qualifications have never been questioned, you should stay away if you're the type that enjoys a normal conversation with your chil'd Dr. This guy is COLD!!!!!

Dr. Barash is a GREAT doctor no matter what anyone else says. He will see you at any time where other doctors will send you to the ER when you get sick because they are to lazy to go and see you. I would recommend Dr. Barashin a second. Hes a no-nonsense type of person.

I would not recommend this doctor. He is arrogant and speaks in a condescending tone that is anything but reassuring. I have had too many experiences where he ignored or discounted me and my child. He is often complaining how he is making "no money". Enough already. I'm done.

Dr. Barash is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate when it comes to children;a straight-forward no nonsense type of person. He is a true child advocate and will go to all ends when your child needs him. He does not appear that way at first with his tough exterior, but when you stick with him as your pediatrician you get to know his real priorities which are your child's well-being. He answers your call at all hours. I wouldn't change doctors in a million years.

Dr. Barash is a wonderful doctor and so willing to listen to any concerns we have. He helped us when our son was born and had not been put in his care. He kept us sane while the doctors in charge of his care wanted to perform surgery. he also took our calls at all hours. He is a wonderful doctor and we are happy to have him as our ped.
