I was 8 months pregnant when I arrived to Canada. And Dr Attie.c helped me in my further pregnancy she was very polite, helpful and sweet. Thanks you so much for guidance.

I would not recommend this OBGYN as a pregnant person. She misdiagnosed me and I ended up with emergency C-section due to high blood pressure that she misdiagnosed and intra-uterine growth restriction. She also told me to Google my questions when I asked her questions and some worries I had regarding my pregnancy.

Dr Attie was my OB for second pregnancy. She is very sharp, punctual and experienced and a very good listener. She and her staff provided an amazing level of care for me which I had not seen during my first pregnancy with other doctors in Ottawa. It felt like I mattered and that made all my stress go away and that made my second pregnancy to go much smoother.

Dr Attie was my OB for my first pregnancy. She's always cheerful and takes the time listen and answer all the questions I had. Would definitely consider her as my OB again for my next baby! For now I will miss having my monthly/weekly appointments with her.

I cannot comment on care of pregnant patients, but if you have fibroids I STRONGLY recommend going elsewhere. I was referred to Dr. Attié for fibroids after noticing steadily increasing bleeding, pain and clotting in my periods. I was initially put on Fibristal in an attempt to medically shrink the fibroid, but after a year my fibroid had doubled in size. At this point, I had expected to be offered surgical removal of the fibroid as an option, as my quality of life was affected significantly by the bleeding and pain. However, I was instead told that surgery would be too risky (fertility reasons) and that if my husband and I were thinking of becoming pregnant within a year that we should just forego treatment and try to get pregnant, then have a hysterectomy once our family was complete. This was despite my detailing how VERY MUCH bleeding and pain I was experiencing. I initially took her word for it and thought "if other options were available to me, she would refer me to someone else who specialized in this area". After a year, the pain and bleeding had become such an exhausting, painful and horrifying disruption to my life that I asked my GP if there were any other options that I could pursue and she immediately referred me to another gynecologist who was part of a WHOLE TEAM of fibroid specialists in Ottawa. My new gynecologist immediately classified my case as high priority and went over treatment options with me. He very quickly validated my year of hell, stating that nobody with symptoms like mine should be left untreated. I recently had surgery to remove the fibroid and my life is just so much better now. I no longer live in fear of leaving the house lest I bleed all over the place or crumple into a ball crying from the pain. I have nothing against Dr. Attié personally, but I wish that once my case started progressing outside of her realm of expertise that she had referred me to the team in Ottawa that specialized in that area instead of leaving me untreated and stating that it was very unlikely that any other gynecologist would be able to do anything for me. It was very upsetting to learn that I lived with such a poor quality of life for well over a year when I could have been receiving treatment :(

Not only is Dr Attie rude and inaccessible, she misdiagnosed me multiple times despite have other medical professionals tell her they disagreed with her. After not listening to my concerns she decided that I needed pelvic floor therapy and refused to see me again, sticking with her original (and very wrong) diagnosis. Eventually my GP basically forced her to examine me and again. On her second misdiagnosis, she gave me advice that ended with me in the ER. I was sick with a serious infection for 6 months because she kept dismissing me. Do not see this doctor.

The worst doctor i have ever seen. She ignore her patients. And she don not care pregnant woman

My Family Doctor referred me to Dr. Attie and we had a phone appointment today. She was 45 mins late calling me so I went out to do groceries and to pick my son up. When she called me she told me she is uncomfortable talking to me while I am doing groceries. I mentioned her being 45 mins late calling me so I moved on with my day and had errands to run. She did not apologize , she spoke down to me and proceeded to tell me she will not continue this consultation. I waited 3 mths for this consultation so of course I’m upset. I tell her I will go to my car if she prefers , she said she does not want to continue our appointment as I sound irritated and annoyed. Of course I am
, I waited 3 mths and you are refusing to talk to me. She continued to tell me she runs a doctors office and if she’s late to call me , that’s just the way it goes and I agi hi appreciate her calling me and if I were the patient in her room, she wouldn’t want to be dismissed just for her to have called me at 2pm. I told her she is condescending and I’m unsure why she’s treating me this way? She told me this isn’t going to work between us and she will let my doctor know I refused the referral. I did not refuse it … she told me multiple times that she didn’t want to continue our appointment. She is so unprofessional and condescending, unintelligent and I will now have to wait another 3 mths for a referral all because of her lack of professionalism.
Stay away from this « Doctor ».

Disrespectful, condescending, poor bedside manners and down right rude. Stay away from her especially if you're a person color. This woman is in the wrong profession.
