I was born with a congenital abnormality, which was not discovered till I was very sick and in pain at the age of 49. After a few years of doctors trying to diagnose and do procedures on me, I was finally sent to Dr. DUNN at USC. He diagnosed my condition as Urethral pelvic junction obstruction/ by way of a congenital abnormality and scheduled me for surgery. The complicated and unusual 8 hour surgery was performed, and I felt great afterword. Dr. Dunn is a very talented Urologist. I am extremely thankful to him for prolonging my life and being able to live pain free. University Hospital was wonderful, very clean, and beautiful. My nurse was extremely attentive, and would be at my side helping me before I even had to call for her. My hospital stay was very short Friday to Sunday morning since Dr. DUNN performed Robotic Lapraroscopic Surgery. I was not cut wide open as less qualified surgeons would do. I had 5 small incision points where Dr. Dunn used the Robot to perform my surgery. Consequently this results us a much quicker recuperation time and much less pain. I cannot say enough good things about this whole experience, or stress how great s doctor Matthew Dunn is. Thank you Dr. DUNN

Dr Dunn removed kidney stones from my Ureter and Kidney. Three in total, two of which were over 1" long. This was all done through a small incision in my back. He is extremely knowledgeable and is considered by my Urologist to be the best in SoCal. He has a great bedside manner is easy to talk to and explained the procedure thoroughly. I went in to USC Medical on a Friday morning and went home the next day. I experienced no pain or discomfort throughout the experience and I took no pain pills. My wife and I were impressed with the whole operation at USC Medical and Dr. Dunn's skill.
