Was very helpful to me but it was a minor problem. Expect to wait 30 minutes at least past your scheduled time.

I went to Dr. Chamberlain several years ago and will never go back. Just learned about this web site and decided to share my experience. I suffered from dizziness and numbness in the left side of my face. Was worked up with a scan to determine if there was the possibility of a tumor within my ear canal. After having a negative scan and several visits to see Dr. Chamberlain, he told me verbatim, on my last visit, that I had spent countless insurance dollars on this problem and that since his work up appeared to be normal that I needed to make friends with my problem and learn to live with it. I was extremely insulted by his arrogance and lack of concern for what was a true health issue. And by the way, I did make friends with a new doctor who took care of me.

Dr. Chamberlain talked the entire time; he wouldn't shut up. I tried to ask a question and he hushed me up. He told me that my balance issue, tinnitus and ear pressure is because I clinch my jaw and grind my teeth. I attempted to tell him that I can't clinch my teeth because of the advanced arthritis in my jaw. The nurse made notes in my file about my particular autoimmune arthritis before Dr. Chamberlain saw me. The brief visit was so silly that I didn't try to tell him again. Do NOT go there. Perhaps if HE had clinched HIS teeth I could have made a brief simple statement. The parking is very convenient, particularly if you have arthritis and limited mobility. The staff was polite and seemed professional. I was not prescribed any medication. I was not scheduled for a follow up visit. I will take my good insurance and copay elsewhere and I've made a second appointment with a different practice. Beware.

Dr. Chamberlain would not allow me to even begin telling my symptoms. He did not look at my blood work or x-ray sent by my PCP. He was rude and made fun of me and at one point I began to cry because of his abrasiveness. I felt like he was in such a hurry that I was a problem for him to even see me. I never even got to tell him why I was there. When I tried he shut me up and he talked the entire time. My blood work showed that I have been dehydrated on two recent occasions. He ended up prescribing me a water pill. I called him back when the pharmacist informed me that I should not be taking the water pill if I was dehydrated. He was almost as abrasive on the phone as he was in his office. He told me he was the doctor and that he knew how to treat inner ear trouble and that I did not and to take the medication. So I am taking it. I awoke with a headache and am very weak. I was not weak before I went to him.
