Face Lift?...Me? I thought of this for years, and as the years grew on, I began to notice that I looked tired, and my jowls and jaw line began to take over as the prominent feature of my face. No. I did not like this look. I'm in the public everyday, so I decided to do something about it!

I'd heard that Dr. Daniel Shapiro was the best in this field from a number of sources, and as I began looking around at various plastic surgeon's "before and after" photos, I realized the Dr. Daniel Shapiro was indeed above the others.

I made the appointment for the consultation, and was pleasantly surprised to find Dr. Shapiro a very cordial and caring doctor. He knew exactly what I was interested in achieving, and needing to support my profession as a Professional Hair Dresser. He made recommendations that I had not even considered, but once he carefully demonstrated the additional features that he thought would give me even better results, I was elated.

Yes, the surgery was difficult, but worth while. My recovery was not a walk in the park, but, I was up and around the hotel room by the next day and out in public with my husband in four days, then back to my salon in three weeks; still a bit tired by the end of days for an additional week. But, the great news is that I look and feel wonderful about myself, after five weeks.

I never thought I’d have a plastic surgeon in my contact list. Plastic surgery was for the beautiful wealthy people, or so I thought. The truth is there were features I liked about myself, but time had altered them. There were also features that I never found attractive. I’m so happy, and feel more attractive , because I trusted the talented hands of Dr. Shapiro. He did beautiful work and turned back the hands of time. Dr Shapiro did my breast lift with implants. I have never been so happy. He does amazing work and he’s very thorough. He has great bedside manner and he listens to what you want. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to have a whole new confidence in life. He’s the best.

I am compelled to share my personal experience of the plastic surgical services received under the care of Dr. Shapiro. I seek services for a rhinoplasty and an under chin skin laxity earlier this year. I was very nervous to undergo these procedures as this would be my second deviated nose septum correction. The first was a failure from a few years before and it left me without hope of a proper face fitting and harmonious presence of my image.

My appointment was originally for seven weeks later after the initial booking call, yet I was added to a waiting list which resulted in an almost a month early first evaluation. I was very impressed with this speed on my initial consultation because I was really looking forward to gathering all necessary information to make a surgeon selection as soon as possible. I had already seen two other plastic surgeons in the valley and Dr. Shapiro ended up topping my list of consultations.

How did Dr. Shapiro exceed expectations compared to other surgeons previously consulted? Dr. Shapiro has over 30 years of experience in the field. His experience shows through his handling of the consultation in a professional and enthusiastic manner that shows his passion for his profession. Within minutes after meeting me he was able to elaborate on the visual findings of my nose and extra chin skin and was able to make a clinical recommendation. He didn’t have the need to do internal nostril palpation and internal visualization to understand that my nose was lacking proper support.

My surgery date was secured for three weeks after my initial consultation. I was provided verbal and written information on what to expect. The pre-surgical preparation flew very smooth from here. I did call for clarification post-surgery on some of the medications for which I received prompted response and follow up.

I have had multiple follow up appointment that have ensured my recovery is going as expected.

I am a 73 year old woman who consulted with Dr. Shapiro to address the laxity in my lower face and neck. My goal was to look rejuvenated and refreshed. He suggested a deep plane facelift as well as a neck lift. I am very happy with the work he has done. Dr. Shapiro is a very qualified, experienced surgeon. I have been wanting a mommy makeover for more than 20 years and finally went all-in almost a year ago. I am absolutely thrilled with the results. Dr. Shapiro was confident in his ability to transform the way my body looked and he calmed my anxiety about final results during my initial consult. I am a short/small person and gained A LOT of weight very quickly when I was a teenager. Three children later, it didn't matter how many miles I ran or how many hours I worked out, I would never be able to see my abs through all the excess skin covering them. Dr. Shapiro did an amazing job not only on my abdominoplasty (I have AMAZING abs now!), but also in transforming my chest from flat/floppy to beautiful and perky just like I'd always wanted. Dr. Shapiro's expertise definitely comes into play when he works. His explanations are clear , and his results are wonderful. The entire office staff is pleasant and competent. The nursing staff is also top notch. I highly recommend this office and doctor.
