Awful experience. Cut 2 inches out of my leg for a knee replacement and then put the wrong joint in. Now crippled and seeing another Doctor to repair the damage.

He replaced my hip and stapled it instead of gluing it and taped cotton over incision instead of water proof bandage. He told me he happened to have a staple gun in his hand and water proof bandages were expensive. VERY ARROGANT

I had both knees replaced by Dr Telehowski and was very pleased with his work. I had no problems with him or his staff. I think he is an excellent surgeon.

I broke the 3 central bones in my left foot jet-skiing in the Gulf of Mexico. Having used OrthoMichigan in the past, I was referred to Dr. Paul Telehowski. After looking at my x-rays, he deduced that I didn't need surgery. The ER orthopedic resident diagnosed me as needing surgery. So, to be safe, I decided to get a third opinion and asked Dr. Telehowski if he could recommend a foot specialist in the area; he appeared offended and stated, "I am a specialist." I then saw a renowned foot specialist in the Detroit area; he used stress x-rays to determine that, in addition to breaking the 2nd through 4th bones, I had damaged the 1st & 5th joints; his evaluation was thorough and professional, but his technician's casting abilities were far below that of OrthoMichigan. I contacted OrthoMichigan to have a proper cast installed and was denied by Dr Telehowski because I sought an additional opinion. According to the office manager, Cindy, I could no longer be treated by OrthoMichigan.

I went to this doctor in the St.Clair Shores office. He was not helpful at all after surgery. My follow up visits were a terribly long wait. The last straw for me was taking off work early only to sit in the waiting room for an hour.Once I finally got to the room and waited another half hour I over heard joking with his buddy on the phone about his new house. WTF have a little respect for the people paying for your house! I ended up storming out and found a better doctor. My knee has been overall good but terrible bedside manner.

Keep telling me my bone was healing in my arm for 8 months. Every time he took an x-ray he would say "it looks good". Finally my case manager said to him to have a ct scan done then the doctor's story changed and the bone wasn't healing! The doctor says the reason the bone didn't heal is because I somke. People brake bones evey day that smoke and it doesn't mean that it wont heal.I just had to have surgery again on my arm only this time he took bone and bone marrow from my hip to place in my arm. Hopefully he did a better job this time!!!!!!
