If I could leave this “Physician” ZERO stars I would. We waited for for 3 months to get my husband in to see Klebanoff at the recommendation of Brain & Spine to rule out that my husband’s excruciating head pain wasn’t solely due to his recent diagnosis of Type 1 Chiari. We arrive & she starts hammering away with her cookie cutter questions. Anytime my husband or myself would answer with more than a yes or no she would stop us mid sentence. She gave him a rudimentary exam with the reply of your neck feels great. As if she can feel what’s going on inside of his brain or his neck. Her diagnosis “Migraines” she prescribed him a slew of medications. When I asked about his 8mm Tonsil Protrusion she said it’s a “red herring” meaning “something that distracts attention from the real issue”
I asked can we get a CIN MRI to check his spinal fluid she said no. I asked about his sudden vision change that required 3 different prescription changes her reply “stop wearing the glasses”
I asked about the numbness in his legs and arms her reply “ I guess I can refer you to someone for that but it’s pointless”
When asked if he has urinary frequency or loss of urine he said yes her reply you can see a urologist.
All of his symptoms are the symptoms from the Chiari Type 1 that was only discovered from a Snowboard accident. My husband has never been the same. We need help. Not to be prescribed a bunch of meds and to be treated like we were a bother to her. Why she is still employed his beyond me.

Coincide with the comment of her being very arrogant on top of lacking human quality. (the only thing to value is her punctuality, as she puts one out of the office quickly). BUT also she is limited in her diagnosis. I had some Vertigo episodes. She made me do the exercises to confirm it and send me to a technical treatment writing my problem was on my right ear. All I ever felt was on the left, therefore I called her to ask her if it could have slipped a mistake on her prescription. "How do you dare?!
I know what I write, it is on the right". The technician treated me on the right and dismissed me in a couple of sessions while I continued with some problems. I called him, he asked me to go in again and after various exercises, he found something on the left side. Not all disappeared. Sometime later a brain MRI showed I have a tumor in the left ear Canal which could be detected if Dr. K. would have ordered and MRI.
I hope my experience helps other Drs. to pay more attention to patients' symptoms.

Saw Dr Klebanoff in June for some constant headaches I was experiencing . She was extremely knowledgeable , helpful and kind . Couldn’t disagree more with some of the mediocre reviews below .. she put me at ease that my headaches were most likely nothing serious . After taking an mri to rule out anythitn serious , she actually called me herself within 20 minutes of me leaving the MRI center as the center was a Weill center and have shared data systems . Absolutely terrific doctor .

Really wish I had read some of the online reviews before I scheduled. Now that I’ve read a handful of 1 star reviews they sound exactly like my visit.
She was incredibly formulaic and following a script and unable to adjust that apparently. Her style is reminiscent of 3rd year medical students except without any shred of empathy. She was punctual which I suppose is a plus but only because she literally rushes you out of the office the second your visit is over.
Patronizing, condescending, judgmental and inflexible. She does not explain anything you want or need to know but insists on long-winded explanations for aspects of migraine management that you already know about. I have plenty of experience with doctors who lack any semblance of a bedside manner but typically they make up for it by being brilliant clinicians- not the case here.

Wonderful doctor. I've had severe migraine problems and she really listened and has gotten back to me in emergency situations. Caring and responsive. I've referred a number of people to her and they had similar experiences.

Dr. Klebanoff is the worst, rudest, most arrogant doctor I have ever been to. When I walked in, she announced that she couldn't help me! So why did she waste my time and money? Never made eye contact but instead sat there typing, click, click, click, very annoying. Felt like she viewed me as a middle aged woman with nothing better to do than conjure up some symptoms who spends her time going to doctors! I cancelled my second appointment and have never looked back. I believe she needs a course on basic manners and compassion. Thank God she is not an oncologist!

Dr. Klebanofg is fantastic. I've been a patient of her's for 10+ years and she is always there for me. Being a neurologist is an agonizingly complex Dr. and she is amazingly competent in all ways.

Dr. Klebanoff is totally lacking in compassion and bedside manner. Very cold and not someone I would ever consult again. I have chronic migraine and she was totally unhelpful....

I found Dr. Klebanoff to be cold, condescending, and - at times - downright rude. I also felt that she didn't listen to half of what I said and that my presence was a waste of her time.
