Clearly the five star rating is from him or his staff..too fake. I scheduled an appointment with this doctor, yes, he has bad manner, spent at most 2 mins with me, without letting me tell any thing about my illness, he said "It's a mystery" and acting like I'm wasting his time...Really? I don't mind how bad the doctor behave as long as he told me a proper diagnosis, not even a treatment...but "Mystery“ huh..I can even get a complete better answer using google than spending my work time and pay extra money to visit you for a "Mystery". No follow up except bills.

Think I'm seeing people giving ratings based on bedside manner. I can't say that's Dr. Spiro's greatest strength. but THAT won't save your life! What he did for me was lead a team that cured my cancer, without deforming surgery (the guy's a surgeon who led with the news that surgery was not the answer!!), answered every question honestly/proactively/forthrightly, was never, ever wrong. His team saved my life; what do you want your doc to do, say sweet nothings in your ear or cure you? Bedside manner is over-rated; well, maybe not so much for nose-job specialists. Jeff Spiro is not a nose-job guy; get over it.

Look for other doctor, don't waste your money and time here, he didn't do any check on me and told me there's nothing he can do, go find a website, I wonder why he was still there, no knowledge at all..worst doctor ever

MY DOCTOR DRO. LEONARD OF 30+ YEARS RETIRED SO TODAY WAS MY FIRST ENCOUNTER WITH DR. SPIRO WHO AS NOW IS THE ONLY DOCTOR YOU CAN SEE. HE DID NOT INTRODUCE HIMSELF AS REPLACING DR LEONARD, WAS LOOKING DOWN AT THE FLOORS. ALREADY HAD A DIAGNOSIS FORMED BEFORE HE CAME IN THE ROOM, WAS BRUTALLY MEAN, NO PERSONALITY, WAS IRATE,BRUSQUE, DID NOT LISTEN TO SYMPTOMS, TALKED OVER TOP OF ME, INTERRUPTING ME, VERY BAD FIRST IMPRESSION. DID NOT PROPERLY NUMB MY NOSE BEFORE SCOPING DOWN MY NOSE AND THROAT I COULD FEEL EVEN INCH GOING DOWN MY NOSE AND THROAT. I TOLD HIM AND HE SAID YOU ARE BETTER FEELING THE PAIN THEN BEING NUMB FOR TWO HOURS. I TOLD HIM HE DID NOT CARE, WAS VERY VERBALLY, PHYSICALLY ABUSIVE AND WAS VERY SADISTIC. HE SAID IF I DID NOT LIKE HIM THERE ARE OTHER DOCTORS I COULD SEE.I NOW HAVE FACIAL PAIN AND SORE EARS AND THROAT, I TOLD HIM I JUST GOT OFF Z PAK FOR SINUS INFECTION, AND ACCUSED ME OF DOING DRUGS DUE TO A PREFORATED SEPTUM WHICH I HAVE NEVER DONE. I had cancer of the gum and looked everywhere in the state for the best. Found him through medical students at Uconn. He hooked me up with dentists at Uconn so they all worked together. He operated immediately and prognosis is good. Found out later that he was listed as one of top doctors in CT by fellow physicians but he isn't widely known. Have used Uconn a number of times and would take it over Yale New Haven any day. He can be brusque but he knows what he is doing and that is what counts when you have cancer.
