On behalf of my wife who (quietly) suffers from arithmia, Rabkin is now a no-go. It is evident from the downward trend of comments that he should shortly go to pasture. Not only did he prescribe an inappropriate medication, he failed to properly monitor her condition, leading to emergency surgery. Were we vindictive, he would be reported to the College. Rather, at his age, we hope he or an associate reads this, and realizes that retirement would be best for all.

He only has a staff member one day a week. He was rude to my wife who asked knowable questions about my condition. I found another cardiologist asap. He wasted our time.

I have been seeing Dr. Rabkin for several years. I developed atrial fib. several years ago.
I have had 2 stints placed in my heart Dr. Rabkin is very professional, caring and knowledgable. I highly recommend him as an excellent cardiologist.

Dr. Simon Rabkin is horrible in his bed side manner. He will not allow any room for the discussion about the appointment at hand. If one disagrees with him he will become uptight. He is far too set in his ways, which are very old school. He lacks any understanding of the human nature of the condition one is dealing with. He treats you like a number and its in and out of his office. I question the decision of those who hired him for his job. He also treats you like a case number and not a human patient. This is really not the way any modern Dr. even a cardiologist should treat their patients when patients are under stress with their medical conditions.

Rabkin is easily exasperated if you don't agree with him, pleasant if you do. Don't like his authoritarian stance does not explain himself or can't be bothered. Gives impression he is only interested in getting you into CT Scans and more unnecessary tests.

Dr. Rankin he is very professional and caring practitioner. He makes you very comfortable and that reduces the amount of anxiety.
He is very knowledgeable and very thorough. However his staff has very poor skills and do not respond to your messages right away it takes almost a week to hear from her.

Dr. Rabkin is great. He is very calming which I find great as it reduces the anxiety of being ill. He does his homework and sends you for all the appropriate tests without hesitation. He has met with me the day after every test to relay the results which is great not having to wait till all is completed to get the results
