She was excellent
She was in a building on st Clair then
She was very empowering and to this day I use the knowledge tools discovered through therapy with her

The only good psychiatrist in the history of Waterloo Region! She wasn't kidding when she told me 12 years ago that there aren't any good psychiatrists in the Region. Wow!

Dr. Ligate was my guiding light for 12 beautiful years. I miss her dearly and care about her dearly. She helped me and my guardian more than anyone ever could. There will never be a person I respect and admire more than her. I will forever remember what she taught me and where I have come from. I want only the best for her. God bless you, Dr. Ligate.

I saw Dr Legate for a IME assessment that was mandated by my employer, so of course I was very nervous what the results would be. Dr Legate was amazing to open up to. I trusted her and she gave me the support and validation that I needed to return to work. She also informed me of resources to help my family situation, that no other health professional in the past two years had. She is professional, intelligent and most importantly has great empathy.

I saw Dr. Ligatt years ago and she guided me to be healthy and live a normal life even with my diagnosis. She inspired me to live life more than how others might have believed I could not. Her staff were very supportive over the years and never gave up on me. That was over 10 years ago and I have become successful in my family life, social live, as well as my professional life. Thank you Dr. Ligat....I am grateful.

It is extremely rare to find someone of Dr. Ligate's intelligence, empathy, sympathy and ability to help, cure, and understand. We have all lost someone who gave/gives to the world/planet. Am sure others miss her as I do and wish we could have her as a guiding light.

Dr Ligate was my first and only psychiatrist. At first I was apprehensive because I had avoided proper treatment for a while, but I realised she just wanted to see me at my best. She responded appropriately to my concerns about medication and was willing to talk about other areas in my life such as social life, work life, etc. She seemed very personable and I believe she represents a good mentor.
