sabaceos corcinoma...rare cancer
Dr Anderson removed my right ear and the tumor that was growing there and declaired a success as all the margines were clear and he bump behind my ear was just swelling which turned out to be a tumor . A new tumor appeared in the same area and continues to grow. So from the surgery I don't know what I gained . The nerves were cut and my face disformed and my right eye is still not functioning. I suppose the surgery allowed me to be seen more in public as this new growth is likely to take over the whole side of my face. I had two intense bleeding situations from he same area and went to the hospital imergency and Anderson was quite flippened about it

We were referred to Dr. Anderson when my mother was diagnosed with cancer. He was absolutely amazing in helping to calm us down by trying to connect with my mom by trying to speak a few words of Cantonese when telling a joke. This really helped in our anxious situation. He took time to draw a a simple diagram to explain the surgery to my mother and ensured that we all knew what was was going on. While Dr. Anderson appeared positive and kept the mood light, he always made sure we fully appreciated him the possible outcomes of the cancer. Dr. Anderson’s caring and understanding of my mom and our extremely inclusive family he made mom’s journey with cancer much less anxious for all of us.

*NOTES* THIS IS AN ENCOUNTER I HAD WITH HIS OFFICE STAFF

I got a referral from an ER doctor after visiting ER. The staff answering the phone was very defensive and questioned everything I said. The first response I got from the receptionist was they can fit me in until next month, then she gave me a date about a week after. I called back to reschedule my appointment cause I was sick, the receptionist just told me they no longer can see me, and that I should have my GP refer me to a different ENT!

IF CAN'T FIT A PATIENT INTO THE OFFICE, MAYBE THIS DOCTOR SHOULD NOT BE AN ON-CALL ENT FOR ER!

Dr Anderson is awesome. He did my parathyroidectomy twice and you can hardly see a scar . He’s done it so precisely that the scar merges with the natural lines on my neck . He’s a kind & compassionate gentleman and he cares about his patients. I had some complications after discharge and called his office and they called me in the very same day (Saturday) .Ruth is helpful and sweet too. As a patient and also a healthcare professional I’ve heard and seen so many stories about how amazing Dr Anderson is.

Dr Anderson is an incredibly competent, kind and compassionate surgeon. I went into surgery trusting that he would use his years of experience and skill to remove my cyst with minimal scarring and he did just that. When I had concerns post surgery, he called me in the evening after he had completed all his other surgeries that day and saw me multiple times. I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor.

Dr Anderson got me through 2 very intense, specific, life saving/altering surgeries and I respect both his incredible work and knowledge of his specific field. Is he funny and joking around..NO, but who would want that in a specialist with your life in his hands? He is extremely talented and I’ve had many compliments on his work with my aggressive oral cancer…twice! I have since moved to another province, however I will be going back to him if any other suspicious issues arise! He was more than happy to answer all,and I had many, questions in terms that I could understand. Dr Anderson even took time on a weekend to call an out of town pharmacy for me,to refill my prescription meds, when I was having difficulty explaining my situation. He is brilliant, accommodating and helpful. Anyone who has had a bad experience with him, didn’t give him a fair chance! Remember, this Dr is well known across Canada , held in high regard and extremely busy. I’m thankful to be alive, and put back together, thanks to Dr Anderson and his team!🙏
