When I presented in the ER with a seizure the FIRST thing he did was sit across from me, look at me funny and say “were you sexually abused as a child?” HUH??? He’s a misogynist.

Dr. Nguyen est un excellent neurologue. Il se soucis énormément de ses patients. Il a suivi mon fils pendant 9 ans et sa disponibilité était incroyable. J’ai totalement confiance en ce médecin qui a fait tout en son pouvoir pour traiter mon fils pendant des moments très difficiles. Merci pour tout! Johanne Courte

Tells me that im faking it since i was 2 years old, ( i saw him for monitoring a few years ago but told me im faking it ) he told me the reason why im faking it is because im a premature baby and it must have affecting me when i got expeled out of my mom early and felt abandoned. I laughed at his statement since its stupid. He told me i have a psychiatric problem, which i did go see him to figure it out and the psychiatric told me that my problem is not mental but physical. But dr nguyen did a mark on my file by telling that all i want is attention and drug myself ( not true at all ) when i feel my seizures coming i hide myself... why would i hide of i want so much attention like he says???

Very cold and uninterested. A robot would do a better job: at least, you would know what to expect. He is there to link diseases to what your tests say. You, as a human being, your well-being, is not part of his job. Only keeping you alive is of importance. Even if it brings you to the brink of suicide. Your feedback or feelings: he does not care. Being "well" is an abstract concept for him.. Meds don't work?...you'll get more and more and more and new ones and more...until you commit suicide.

Dr. Nguyen a une approche très froide. Quand nous allons bien, il est correct avec nous. Par contre, quand nous allons moins bien et qu'il est dans une impasse, c'est là que ça se gâte un peu. Dans ces moments, il peut être très bête et même nous dire que c'est peut-être nous le problème. On dirait qu'il n'accepte pas de ne pouvoir rien faire pour nous et pour se déculpabiliser, il nous fait porter la faute. Pourtant il devrait savoir que personne n'est parfait et que cela peut arriver qu'il soit dans une impasse. On ne changera pas de neurologue pour autant. En agissant de la sorte, nous ne sommes pas porter à lui dire comment nous allons réellement.

Dr. Nguyen est un excellent neurologue. Il est à l'écoute de son patient. Oui, il peut sembler froid mais c'est seulement une façade. Dr. Nguyen veut toujours le bien de ses patients. Il est toujours à la recherche de la bonne solution pour aider le mieux son patient. Seul bémol Dr. Nguyen a une longue liste de patients alors il fort possible qu'on ne le voit pas dans les délais prescrit. Par contre, il n'y peut rien. Dernière chose, j'apprécie beaucoup qu'il est une infirmière disponible lorsque nous allons moins bien. Elle fait le relais avec le médecin et elle nous rappelle pour nous dire ce que le Dr. a décidé de faire. Et si Dr.Nguyen juge qu'il faut nous voir, il nous fait venir à son bureau.

Dr.Nguyen est un bon médecin . Il est à l'écoute de son patient , professionnel et effectue de bon suivi. Effectivement , il peut sembler froid mais au contraire , il est totalement attentif au patient et ses explications/symptômes afin de déterminer le bon diagnostic . Il semble apprécier lors que qu'on est clair et précis avec lui.

Dr. Nguyen wasn't satisfied with my medication intake, which another neurologist gave me without a diagnosis. Dr. Nuyen said he'd rather know the source of my seizures before giving me medication so I was monitored for a few days. Diagnosis: partial epilepsy.
The staff and Dr. Nguyen were very helpful and kind during my stay, answered my questions, took the time to explain what is really happening. I'm happy I finally have someone who listened to me and got me properly tested! (EEGs, MRI, monitoring...)
He adjusted my medication, which makes me feel much better, less groggy and more energized. My seizures are under control and I can finally drive again and live a normal life!
