I have also been seeing Dr. Wild for a long time. I think it is coming on 24 years soon. I basically started seeing her when she first opened up her practise on Stephens St.

I'm not sure about the rest of you but I honestly don't know what I will do when she goes into full retirement. She has always been there for me. So much so I even have her home phone number and I call her when I go through one of my "crisis"

I know that after she goes into full retirement I am gonna have to stop calling her at home. It's going to be hard through since I'm been doing it for over 20 years.

BTW I also have frontal lobe brain injuries suffered December 28, 1990.

My name is Mimi and if anyone feels like chatting please feel free to email me. I live a rather isolated and lonely life...wildflower113@shaw.ca

Doctor Wild is simply one of the best psychologists that I have ever seen in my life. She possesses a unique combination of professionalism, intuition, experience and kindness. It's one of those rare cases when you feel that a healthcare specialist is both very knowledgeable and very compassionate at the same time.

From the first session she seemed to understand what I am going through as a young woman with a frontal lobe brain injury. In the first session, I barely even needed to explain anything, and in fact she made me aware that some of the problems I'm having are in fact common for my type of injury. Since then she has continued to be very involved and proactive in the sessions, while letting me decide what direction to go into.

I have been a patient of Dr Wild's coming on 20 years. Yes it has been a long time. I believe I also suffer frontal lobe brain injury. I was 15 I think when I started seeing her. She help me learn to live with the new me. She got me help by meeting with my teachers at my school to help them understand me. I know this is normal practice but she has actually given me her home number and I am able to calling with I am going through my "crisies" Like many of her patients might feel I think I would be dead if it weren't for her suppose. I am dreading the day that she fully retires. Considering how she is only working p/t now and gradually decreasing her workload, I honestly dread the day she is no long practising. I've been with her since around the time she started her practise at Stephens and I quite likely will be there until the end. Well, gotta go work on her Christmas present now.

Dr. Wild, or Ursula as her patients call her, is very kind and has made her life's work with patient's like me who have had a brain injury. She has helped me with problem solving the problems that the injury to my Frontal Lobe causes me: relationship conflicts, time management, self-image conflicts, major memory issues and a myriad of other problems that continue to both hurt and cause me difficulties in my life. Her patience knows no end and she is able to be flexible, to think on her feet and to draw on her expansive knowledge base. If I had not had access to Dr. Wild I don't think that my life would ever had any structure or meaning or days of happiness since the day of my accident in 2000. Thank you Dr. Wild. Your work is imperative to people like me and your skill set is sadly rare. That, added to your humanity makes for a rare clinician. Thanks again.

I was recommended to Dr. Ursula Wild by a reputable physician. Consistently, she demonstrated kindness, compassion, generosity, and support. Further, Dr. Wild listened attentively to my concerns. She subsequently offered suggestions to assist and let THE CLIENT determine which avenue to work with (versus the traditional control approach many facilitate - i.e. "my way or the highway").Dr. Ursula Wild receives full marks from me!

I had a very disappointing session with Dr. Wild. She realised this also and did not charge me her normal fee of $160.00. Dr. Wild does not keep up with modern advancements in psychology. She is grossly misinformed. Not recommended.
