In 2020 I woke up from sinus surgery in some of the worst pain of my life. I didn't stop bleeding when I got home and hemorrhaged for approximately 6 hours. As my gf couldn't drive I had to call an ambulance to to the ER.

Since then my sinuses havent worked right and it's been a long mental conclusion after eliminating many other factors and finally a CT. I wake up every day with mY head like a basketball, I am at the point I distill my own water for sinus flushes. My nose is constantly sputtering and constricted. My sleep apnea and TMJ are suffering.

It takes a year to get a consultation and I got maybe 10 minutes. He looked down my nose with a flashlight and said "looks correct to me". Despite I was saying it's further back. He was dismissive of my post-op experience and the symptoms I had. I felt like an inconvenience.

A CT scan has proven that fluid gets trapped inside my sinus and has nowhere to go except dry and thicken.

I don't know if this is indicative of how underserved this community is, or whether he's a surgeon or actually the wizard of Oz.

Jewett has actually reached out to him and wrote a letter to get it done. Radio silence from Cain's camp not even a phone call. I have to phone into them to find out I'm now I'm on another 8-12 month waitlist for a consultation! I'm asking my doctor to refer me somewhere else. I'll go to Mexico if I have to. It can't be any worse than this clown show.

I had an appointment with Dr. Cain (suspect skin cancer) & he was informative along with his care & attention. He deserves the high ratings indicated. His support staff reflects his work ethics.

Excellent surgeon, skilled, confident, and personable. I felt well prepared, my surgery went well. I received excellent after care. I recommend him 100% for anyone requiring a difficult surgery.

Have had several surgeries over years. Dr Cain removed a large tumour from my neck. The surgery went better than I had hoped for and I could not have asked for a more thorough , open and friendly experience. I had no after affects even though some were possible. I have had several appointments since for more minor issues and could not be more pleased. If you don't like a friendly and somewhat casual approach to make patients feel comfortable and at ease go elsewhere. As long as I have a choice I wouldn't go elswhere

I have never left an appointment feeling as refreshed and as listened and heard as I do now. He is brilliant and explains every detail. Never once made me or my 8 year old feel rushed. Took the time to explain things to my child and he listened intently as my child was explaining his situation. Was empathetic and professional the entire time. And best of all, no more messing around in the ER. He is dealing with it personally. I am so happy and think that Cranbrook is so unbelievably lucky to have a doctor like him

Saw this doctor for my neck cancer. My GP told me he was the guy. He explained everything very well and prepared me for what was to come . Surgery went well and I am doing ok. Dr Cain is confident, caring and made me feel like I was part of this process. Outstanding.

I think Dr. Cain is a wonderful doctor, I've had aeveral visits with him and found him to be very professional, knowledgable and very easy to talk to. I leave his office or ambulatory ward comfortable in knowing whats going on. Also find staff to be professional and courteous. No complaints whatsoever.

My daughter and myself drove from Golden, each having an appointment with the one we were told was so great. Each of us had separate appts. with separate issues. He took us both in at the same time, and tried to talk to each at the same time about our problems. Mine being a Brain Tumour, my daughter her throat. I found this to be very unprofessional, not to mention unnaceptable. Neither one got any straight answers from him. He said he had Never heard of Infared Heat, how I treat my Acoustic Neuroma tumour I have had for 4 years. I said you must be joking right? He said no. We found him to be very flamboyant, and not taking either of us serious.
We had left Dr. Jewett as we had heard he was good. It was a wasted trip from Golden, never would I ever wish to see him again. Very unacceptable to see two patients at the same time, likely collecting monies for our two appts. Not impressed. That guy needs to get a grip.....Maybe he had time to waste, we didn't.
