He is a man of few words you need to ask questions to understand he doesn’t explain much his staff is friendly but very hard to reach them . You always feel you are rushed and that he has no time for you I m sure he is a good doctor he just doesn’t give you the feeling that he cares

I have nothing but praise and gratitude for Dr. McPhaden and his staff. They are very helpful and prompt with their return phone calls much before the specified time mentioned in the voice mail. Dr. McPhaden is a busy physician, but he still makes time to see you out of turn in an urgent situation. His calm demeanor occasional whit and vast knowledge can be reassuring and comforting.

My mom has been going to see him for the last six years. He has been a Godsend. My mom has no cure, and he is always looking to better her chemo treatment. He has a whit that makes my mom feel at ease with him. He runs late quite often, but given how busy he is always, its not a deterrence.
His staff and the rest of the staff in the clinic are always friendly and this has helped my mom struggle through her endless treatments

He is kind, patient, compassionate and knowledgeable. I found him very helpful he saw me when my Doctor Dr Lee was on vacation.

I was admitted at the hospital when I saw him in person. A man of a few words. I was told he is very knowledgeable but he doesn’t care to explain to the patient what is going on or to reassure you. My experience so far has been horrendous and his staff think they are mini doctors. They actually told me my condition is not that bad when it was. Then they tried to argue that he had seen my test result then to say they were looking at older ones. I would not advise to go to him if you have the choice. I don’t doubt he is knowledgeable but a patient need 3 things or at least one of them: diagnosis, explanation and treatment. I am not getting any of the 3. He keeps me stressed and his staff upsets me.

Appointments can get behind but the staff and Dr. McPaden are the best. After going through chemo then 3month to 6 month checkups I have received nothing but kind considerate and knowledgeable treatment. I feel they are always listening and answer any questions I may have. If I take a turn for the worst I am glad that I am in their hands. Thank you Dr. McPhaden and staff for all you do for so many.

I see Dr. McPhaden on an every 6 months basis and been seeing him for the past 3 years. I worked a s a Medical Secretary myself and have been familiar with medical procedures and such. Dr. McPhaden is th eultimate definition of amazing. He is very helpful, very informative and respectful. Mt condition is not very serious or terminal but he treats me with the same importance like his other oatients amd made sure I am getting the right treatment or follow up.
