My experience with Dr. Lashevsky was very different from the people who found him rude and dismissive. I found his manner kindly but “to the point”, thorough and focused. Dr. Lashevsky asked me many questions, did an examination, told me his findings, gave me a diagnosis, and most importantly prescribed treatment that worked.

This Doctor is horrible. Very hard to understand and has a bad case of Dragon Breath. Dr Lashevsky please brush you teeth or use some mouth wash.

Always late, offers one plan of advice, when asked for alternatives his response was ‘death’ so his way or the highway
Staff is rude.
Had to wait 3 months between telephone appointment and procedure, which he admitted was unacceptable but didn’t apologize, yet everything I called was told they can’t book an appointment cuz they don’t have his schedule(?)

Consulted my doctor for another cardiologist referral as I won’t be seeing this guy again!

One star, since there is no negative star option. The doctor was downright rude, came one hour late for the appointment, didn’t even have the patience to listen to what I had to say neither did he know about my medical history, which would have been already in file, And kept stopping me from even telling what issues I had! Then how the hell will he know how to treat my condition? Word of advice, never go to him to treat you for anything, he will kill you before he can treat you with his rudeness.

If you want a Cardiologist that answers no questions and spends more time
typing on a keyboard go see this Placebo. You are better off trying to get answers from a Mime. Dr. Lashevsky if you happen to read this please go kick some rocks.

The negative reviews on Lashevsky have been confirmed today during my phone appointment. Trying to get any kind of helpful guidance or some basic understanding on what causes my frequent bursts of arrhythmia was like pulling teeth with Lashevsky. To start, he was an HOUR late to our phone appointment, even though this appointment was booked a month in advance. During our call he had to excuse himself twice to speak to other people while I had to wait. He made it very difficult to understand my condition, throwing around terminology without providing any kind of human-understandable feedback on what may have caused it or options for treatment. Was angry and impatient with any question I asked. When I requested the halter monitor results to be shared with my family doctor, he became exceedingly rude and confrontational, telling me he had no time and was busy with other patients. He talks to his patients like they are children and doesn’t appear to want to help. I am not sure how someone with this kind of attitude is a practicing medical doctor.

Not only would I not trust this person to perform any kind of ablation, I wouldn’t trust him to make me a cup of coffee.

Rude, condescending, doesn't care about a patient, only makes fun of the patient.

Very condescending and doesn't seem to care about the patient. Chastised for pretty much not being a cardiologist myself. Having had good doctors in the past, this was downright a horrible experience.

I've sat here and really thought about posting this. I've never had to leave a negative review anywhere. But honestly, Dr. Lashevsky is extremely rude and doesn't care for his patients, but he's very sweet to his secretary though, that was very clear. I just didn't have the same experience. Always late, frequently hangs up on patients. The last two times I had the pleasure of speaking to them I was left in tears with absolutely no help offered and chastised for the fact that I missed an antibiotic on a massive list of medications he told me to read on my own and then hung up on me. Furthermore, I keep seeing these reviews that speak of reassurance. I requested if I can be provided in writing that it is okay for me to take the vaccine with LQT however instead of reassurance I was told he's "not an insurance company" in what universe is that professional or reassuring? I brought valid concerns to the table. He told me I was getting my news from social media and there are no concerns with hearts and the vaccine. "As part of the careful monitoring of these vaccines, reports of rare cases of myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) and pericarditis (inflammation of the tissue surrounding the heart) after immunization with mRNA COVID-19 vaccines continue to be reported in Canada and around the world." <-- That's off the canada gov website and not facebook. But hey you can always just tell me to find another cardiologist and hang up. That's the solution to all unruly patients. Atrocious. Rude and dismissive.

It is my first review of a doctor ever. I couldn't resist writing something after today's telephone appointment. Very surprised to read previous comments about his kind, caring, loving personality, especially his being a great listener. Unfortunately, I can not say the same about Dr. Lashevsky. I asked him only one question related to my condition and the medications that I am taking. Especially since my family doctor referred me to this cardiologist with this issue. I was very worried about my condition as I had fainted the day previously. Dr. Lashevsky's answer was: "I don't have time and interest to listen to your stories", which he repeated twice. I didn't try to tell him my life stories or ask him how to cook my borscht. After waiting for more than 3 months for this 4-minute telephone appointment, he left me crying and feeling helpless. I am an ordinary 52-year-old woman who is not asking for much, just to be healthy as much as possible, and unfortunately, without a doctor's help and advice it's not always possible. I will never contact him again. He is a rude, arrogant, and not caring person at all. Not recommended.
