Dr. Burk did bunion surgery on my foot. I had to have a second surgery (different surgeon) because he placed the screws wrong and they destroyed another bone in my foot "sesmoid" The major issue is that he cut the bone and reattached it at such an angle that my big toe no longer makes contact with the floor. I am walking on a lump that is extremely painful and most podiatrists don't want to risk cutting the bone again. Of course Dr. Burk claims it's not a big deal and can be done, however, at this point I would never allow him to do surgery on me. Please for your own health and well being find a doctor in OKC or Edmond or Enid anywhere except Ponca City Ok for foot surgery.. He is very kind but his surgical skills or knowledge is lacking and willingness to take responsiblility for his actions also lacking.

DR. BURK DID A BUNION SURGERY & TOOK OUT TO MUCH BONE THEREFORE I HAVE TO HAVE THE SAME SURGERY ALL OVER AGAIN.HE SAID FOR DOING THIS FOR 10 YEARS...OOPS...YOUR MY 3RD PATIENT I MESSED UP ON THIS YEAR 2009.WILL NOT RETURN TO HIM & STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO GO TO ANOTHER DR.

Dr. Reed Burk is just awesome! I had a ulcer on my leg that was an open wound for over 25 years that never healed up. Had been to various hospitals and so called "Wound Care Clinics" but their Unaboots were so poorly applied they would unravel as I was walking back to the Parking Lot (St. Mary's Wound Care in Enid for example). Dr. Burk said trust me and give me four months and YES, after all of those years of having that open wound which was getting infected he did what no other Doctor was able to do. About a year later my other foot got infected on a business trip and he stayed with me for emergency surgery on Thanksgiving eve. He stood with me even as Ponca City Medical Center wanted me to leave as I did not have the best insurance. His staff in Ponca City is awesome and even now as my foor continues to heal I credit it all to the LSI Foot Clinic. When it snowed and I could not get out in my wheelchair to get to the office to change my bandage they came to my house!
