I have had a terrible experience with Dr. Lawsons office. The wait time for appointments is often long and way past your scheduled appointment.

One of the biggest issues is the secretary. The phone is never answered. There is no vociemail and it is very hard to get ahold of them. She didn't send my paperwork for GD to the diabetes Clinic until almost 5 to 6 weeks later. Even after following up multiple times. She doesn't seem to want to do her job and often I had to take things into my own hands.

Avoid at all costs.

A really terrible experience. Dr Lawson’s office repeatedly lost my paperwork and asked me my due date several times, then in filling out paperwork for a scan put my due date 5 months in the past on a seemingly random date. Dr Lawson herself prescribed me medicine without reading my chart and had I not checked for interactions myself with existing meds it could have caused permanent nerve damage. She performed an intimate and painful exam without telling me what she was doing or why. She had no interest in answering questions about my pregnancy or talking about the delivery at all. Her exam rooms are disgusting and look like they’ve never seen the right end of a vacuum. Really bad all around. Glad I found another provider.

Dr. Lawson delivered my second baby in 2019 and I will always be grateful. She took every precaution to make it a safe and healthy delivery. She took her time and guided me through labour, having me slow down my pushing when necessary to minimize tearing and pain. She noticed early that the cord was wrapped around my baby's neck and adjusted her instructions to make sure she could deliver my baby safely and properly - in doing so, she saved my daughter's life, and made it a very positive labour and delivery experience for me.

Completely ignored the unusual pain I was in during labor and just kept saying labor is painful and that it is normal. Then I was almost sent home since she thought I was in false labor because the machines were not picking up the contractions.

I had an emergency c section a few hours later. Wish I had a different OB because I felt like she didn't care and didn't listen to what I was saying

Dr.Lawson delivered my first baby and I have nothing but amazing things to say about her ! She helped me deliver naturally during a tough delivery ! Highly recommend!!!!

Very conscientious Doctor who helped me with some very complicated diagnosis. I would recommend this Doctor to anyone who is looking for a very knowledgeable, personable and thorough Gynecologist.

So happy to have found Dr Lawson. She is knowledgeable, caring, thorough and empathetic. She did not fob me off or minimize my symptoms. The location is very convenient (Highway 7), the office staff are amazing and her practice runs on time!

Amazing personality, character, knowledge. The best doctor, caring, compassionate, understanding and approachable. I had a horrible pregnancy, but every time I went to see her she took great care of me. I love dr. Lawson.
