This is a BAD GI TEAM! Dr. Kooros insisted on giving me medicine that I later found out was NOT approved for child patients even though I was 14. When I had terrible side effects he advised I continue to take the medications, which caused permanent damage to my eyes and internal organs! My kidneys almost failed because of this 'wonder drug' he gave me for an illness that's not even life-threatening. Another drug he gave me gave me seven bladder infections, which he insinuated were as a result of sexual activity!!! (I was a 15-year-old virgin.) I cannot believe the insensitivity! I switched to a new GI team and FINALLY went into remission when they stopped giving me the amount of meds he had, which they called "ridiculous" and "dangerously high". And they were right! My illness and life have both improved tenfold after I left this immoral, rude doctor. DO NOT SEE HIM! He is not the 'expert' some claim him to be.
