I attended years ago. After the orientation session i felt compassion for the fellow i was paired with.He explained our lop sided back shoulder bones as over whelmed with what life had put on us. His fees then were somewhere over $300. Too much for me and even getting there not easy. I don t think he d EVER be unprofessional in conduct. I m from New West . Its interesting concept. Accupuncture sends energy to heal too.
So does massage. Certainly lovely energy in Sechelt too with the ocean there and he looks great.

Pushes for multiple weekly sessions even without your diagnosis. When you go in you see receptionist but not dr. Then you are directed to room with several other patients where you will lay until he comes in. You are not allowed to speak so as not to disturb others so therefore cannot inform him of any changes for better or worse in your condition. He then goes from patient to patient once or twice, gives a light push on the base of your spine and tells you to imagine the bad energy flowing out through a hole in your shoulder. Then he leaves and you are free to go without even being able to say a word to him. After a few sessions I realized the only change I would see would be my money flowing from the hole in my wallet.

I saw Dr. Carson because I was quite sore. In the first session, he didn’t treat me, charged me $65 and took x-rays, for a total of $117. In the next session, he discussed the x-rays and wanted me to “promise” to come three times a week, with no end date in sight. I was skeptical. That works out to $40 a session, 12 to 15 sessions, $480 to $600 a month just for chiropractic. I sort of agreed to twice a week but felt really uncomfortable. He then touched a few energy points and that was it, $40. I went to the introductory lecture and he explained about Network Care. It focuses on body and mind, breath, and then goes into deeper levels. He did a demo on his assistant, in front of the audience, touching energy points, like the bottom of her tailbone. He does treat three patients at a time in one room. According to his assistance, they learn from each other. This isn’t for me.

This is the type of chiropractor that makes me wish I could still go to my old chiropractor that I went to before moving. I want GOOD OLD FASHIONED chiropractic care...not some program that is designed for business success rather than patient care. I wish I had found this website earlier. Also creeps me out a little going to a doctor's office in a private home -- even if it is all very professional.

Not sure what the other person was complaining about. The orientation class was to educate and inform about health. Plus what kind of results were you expecting wanting to come in whenever? Results come with consistency and persistency e.g exercise, diet, etc.

Dr. Carson works with the 'Network Spinal Analysis" method.Makes you attend his "orientation" class. Sessions themselves take place in a room with 3 other patients at the same time. Almost feels like a "self service" chiro practice. Very persistant on no less than 2 treatments a week (financial plan available to pay up front for treatments) at $35 a time. No actual manipulation appears to take place, just energy connections which in turn allow you to heal yourself. Each session is about 15 mins long. Receptionist is likely based on commission on sales of booking appointment (appears very unhappy with you if you push back). Dr. Carson will spend time on the initial visit reeling you in with all your "sublaxations" and will not accept anything less than 3 times a week initially as he 'has a reputation to keep" as he said himself. His practice is out of his home in New West, very clean, fresh gowns. Overall he is pushy for your business. Very proffesional otherwise.Research before you go
