Dr Schmitz was my family's doctor for a very long time (close to a decade I think). You may have to wait a while to see her but that's because she takes the time to listen and actually cares and that's worth it to me! I was so grateful to have her caring for all of us and will miss her now that she has moved away.

Dr. Schmitz is thorough and thoughtful. She takes her time with her patients in an analytical approach to your health. She recently took time to discuss our issues by phone and given our 14 day isolation we are extremely appreciative of her quick attention to our health and well being. Thank-you

We have been with Dr Schmitz for years. She has never been cold or unfriendly with any of my family there are five of us). When we have an urgent issue we are given an appointment within a day or two, we may wait to see her, but that’s only because she takes the time to actually talk with her patients. I have never felt rushed, or unheard, or looked down on. Her administration staff is friendly and helpful and both she and Dr Schmitz treat me and my family with care and respect that I feel go above and beyond what is “required”. I would recommend her to anyone!

Capable, friendly, reliable
Am surprised by some of these negative ratings but in every practice there are difficult patients and people whose expectations are unrealistic. Some doctors do not like dealing with them, and save their best for people who really need them.

Likely the worst doctor I have had.does not listen to you ,makes assumptions about your problem.made proceedural errors diagnosis steps,everybody has a story to tell.cold as ice.

I've spent time in a city, so I was actually impressed with her punctuality. My main issue is she doesn't seem to believe you when you have issues, so I would suggest people do their homework and challenge her theories before seeking her help. Her staff were also very difficult and unprofessional, one of them actually LAUGHED at me when I was describing my problems over the phone... VERY offensive and angering! I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone and I'm glad I've switched doctors.

My family and I were going to Dr. Carmen Schmitz but changed doctors because of Dr. Schmitz's cold and unfriendly demeanor. Her condescending attitude, lack of genuine care and, overall, poor social skills were made very clear at my first visit with her. I am thrilled with my new doctor and so happy that we made the change. I would not recommend Dr. Carmen Schmitz to anyone.

I highly recommend Dr. Schmitz. She's has a scientific approach, completely answers all my questions and to be quite honest, I trust her with my life. I'm glad to have found such a professional.
