This was my first time to see Dr. Schwartz and he was awesome. He had a resident Doctor Michael see me first, he was thorough and caring while describing my symptoms. Then Docctor Schartz came in and dissussed my symtoms with me, teaching and mentoring the resident Doctor Michael. His knoweledge and understanding of my symptoms were very solid, and has decided a plan for me. He said he would see me through this process and that I would not be lost in the medical red-tape. His staff are great at what they do and appreciate them. I would recommend Dr. Schwartz and his staff to anyone.

My mom was Dr. D.Swartz's patient for hemo dialysis for 5.5 yrs.
He was the greatest doctor I ever know. He's very professional, a mentor, a brother and a friend. I can't live with my mom's situation when she had kidney failure, but Dr. Swartz gave me the strength to take care of my mom until her last breath. He told me that dialysis was extending my mom's life, if it's her time we should let her go, DNR and no ICU. She passed away last Aug. 5, 2022 at St. Michael facility with me staying with her 24 hrs. I'd like to thank you for all the great services and comfort in our difficult times with my mom. Again thank you very much Dr. Swartz and your wonderful staff / team at RCH. One day I'll visit you, honestly I miss you all 'coz you are more than family to me ❤

I am a new patient to Dr. Schwartz. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our first visit. He is a kind, wise and just overall reassuring doctor. I am new to kidney disease and I really needed someone to help me sort out my illness and priorities…he set me on the right track almost immediately. I really, really needed help and he was definately a light in a very dark time for me…he will be the same for you !

Can't say enough amazing things about Dr. Schwartz. I am so thankful that my family and I are under his care. He is compassionate, smart, well-spoken (able to explain in layman's terms or in scientific terms), and understanding of the health care system. He is tech-savvy and is patient-centered. You really could not ask for more from a physician.

Knows all the 'ins' & 'outs' about kidney disease. Extremely knowledgeable and a very personable doctor. While you've got his attention, he's all yours. He'll get to the bottom of an kidney problem you have. Great 'out of the box' thinker. Wouldn't trade him for another nephrologist closer to home. The long drive is more than worth it for his excellent care.
