Not sure who this guy is but he wrote me a random email degrading me so I called to see what was going on and he started to curse me out. I certainly wouldn't want an individual with this type of temperament operating on me.

Dr. Varnavas was kind enough to do surgery after I had a botched surgery done by a Dr. who isn’t board certified and has botched several other’s surgeries. For some reason the guy is still practicing. The only reason I can think of is the fact Yakima can’t seem to keep a good neurosurgeon. Dr. V is definitely missed here.

I have met with dr.Varnavas three times. He is very compassionate. I am scheduled to have surgery very soon. I have talked to his staff frequently on the phone dealing with my insurance company. They have been very helpful and very very nice. I am so glad I found this doctor and I cannot wait to get some relief from pain and get my life back.

Dr. Varnavas and staff have been amazing before and after my husband had a major back surgery. Dr. Varnavas, his partners and staff have gone above and beyond for us as my husband had unforeseen complications with an allergic reaction and hematoma.

Dr. Varnavus is professional, friendly and caring. But most important, I can walk because of his expertise. He thought outside of the box and performed several surgeries that were successful. I have suffered from severe back and neck pain most of life. And was to the point I simply could not walk. I know several other patients that he helped alter their quality of life, as he did mine. He is not arrogant nor does he have a bad bedside manner, in fact quite the contrary. I was very impressed with the good doctor's monitoring and insistence that I received the appropriate mediation and treatment in the hospital after surgery.
After the surgeries he has kept in contact with me to monitor my condition. He is a skilled surgeon, but also will tell you if he doesn't think surgery is necessary or recommended. I would highly recommend Dr. Varnavus.

extreme knowledge and patience explaining to a patient is so critical. I found Dr Varnavas to be exceptionally kind in ansering a lot of questions. very impressive and very nice staff.
