Upon registration one hour wait. No explanation, only later the Dr. mentioned emergency surgery - would be nice to let the customer know.
Procedure was, I think unacceptably uncomfortable and appeared rushed. This was Wednesday.
The Dr. did point out his observations during the procedure, this was a plus, possibly the only positive comment I can make.
During the consultation the Dr. seemed detached, other things on his mind.
After the consultation the Dr simply pointed me to the receptionist “She will have everything you need”. I was simply told we’ll call to schedule the next appointment.
No post procedure guidelines or information on what to expect was given.
A couple days later as problems developed I called, Saturday only expecting to get an answering service, but the message did say “we check hourly” but it didn’t mention this was only weekdays, and apparently no checking at all on weekends.
Sunday morning I was admitted to the ER with an infection, turns out blood infection from the procedure.
Monday afternoon while in the hospital I received a return call telling me “you made the right decision (going to the hospital)”.
Just conveying my experience for others to consider.
Later in the week, I received another call, to see when to schedule a follow up.
No thanks.
This is just my experience with this doctor, take it as such. Personally, I will not see this doctor again.

I waited for an hour without being called in, and with no explanation, update on timing, or appearance of any level of care from the staff. I went to the desk and told them I was leaving, and they said wait, let me call someone. I said it was too late and I left, never to return. If a Dr. has a policy to charge a patient for being late, then they should act more responsibly or pay us for our time. They are NOT gods. They require I fill in a star for "helpfulness" and "knowledge", but how would I know? I never got in!

A fantastic Doctor. I was developing a bladder issue that was backing urine that was seriously infected. He called the ER letting them know I was coming in, an should be admitted. Once I became stable he did the appropriate steps of performing surgery to clear the issue. Now my PSA is .24, that of 20 year old, not a 63 year. Both my wife and I are extremely happy.

Dr. Hopkins is an outstanding physician. He is very knowledeable, and he takes the time to listen to you. I have 100% confidence in him and his abilities. The office staff, especially his nurse, could use some training in customer service. I highly recommend Dr. Hopkins.
