Receptionists were trying to be helpful but their conversations were unprofessional even though patients could hear what they were talking about in between phone calls. Several patients were waiting over an hour for the doctor. Phone messaging system is clearly inadequate and when phone calls were returned, staff were unable to connect with the doctor and there wasn't a back up doctor to handle questions. Dr. Locketz was helpful when meeting with me and seemed he seemed concerned but his business needs to improve their customer service & communication on every possible level to meet his patients needs.

My experience with Dr. Locketz started off poorly. My very first visit to his office as a new patient, he was an hour and a half late. Not to mention, about an hour late to each visit following that. I have yet to receive an apology for his tardiness. Dr. Locketz was knowledgeable and gave good information regarding my current problems and had a reasonable plan of care. During a couple of appointments I felt rushed. During my wait in the lobby I talked with another patient of his who said it was very common for him to be late. The staff at the clinic were very helpful in scheduling my appointments and getting me in right away. The nursing staff was polite and knowledgeable along with being very personable. If you plan to schedule an appointment with Dr. Locketz my only suggestion would be allowing 1-2 hours more than expected to the his excessive lack of punctuality.

After spending most of my life in chronic pain with it getting much worse in the past 5 years, I am finally getting back to having a normal life with the help from Dr. Locketz. He is very willing to listen, give and also take suggestions, which is very important. He is incredibly caring about your specific situation and will do what he can to help you feel better. The staff and nurses are also very nice and prudent. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Locketz and the clinic overall. Would highly recommend to others!

The doctors at the practice are pretty good but when it comes to their staff they need help. They will not call you back in the 24 hour time period they state, you will wait days literally. This has been an issue since I have been going to this clinic and would recommend finding another clinic that has better staff. The nurses always have sum excuse as to why they didn't call you back, how can a doctor take care of your needs if they are not getting the calls from their patients. With today's social media it doesn't take much for bad reviews to cost a small practice money. I would not recommend the clinic you can find a lot of other places with better staff.

To have any injection from this man is just as well as sticking a needle in your eye. I had the worst experience getting an si joint injection without any pain reliever and was screaming for him to stop the procedure. He did not. It was the most horrendous torture I have been through even though I have now a 4 level lumbar fusion as well as a right and left si joint fusion. After the procedure with Dr locketz he said nothing to me as i was nauseous and vomiting from the pain. He ended up hitting my sciatic nerve numberous timess and never stopped the procedure when I told him to. I would not send my worst enemy to this so called Dr. The only way he gets a 2 rating is because of his staff. He would get a 0 if it was up to me.

He was the only physician who cared enough to see me multiple time. He got rid of my pain I had had for years!

I accompanied my mother for an out patient procedure at his office - trial implant of a spinal chord stimulator. He nicked her spinal chord - she is in worse shape than before the procedure. 8+ days in the hospital, 3+ weeks in a nursing home for uncontolled muscle spasms & severe nerve pain. The disturbing part was that he claimed he had never seen the symptoms she had as a result of his mis-step & had her loaded into a wheel chair & wisked out the back door of his office instead of admitting she needed to go to the hospital. All I did was google uncontrollable muscle spasms & everything pointed to spinal chord injuries. He told her to go home & rest- a few house & she would be fine. We instead went to a hospital where emergency personnel struggled to control the pain. His office was aware of her hospitalization & made no effort to assist or follow up. Very unprofessional.
