I've been a patient of Dr Miller for many years. He is always late so take something to keep you occupied. But he is an excellent specialist - and I am quite willing to wait for the best medical treatment. His practise is always busy. But when you need extra attention, he provides it. When you don't, he hurries you through the door. In my case, he has on a number of occasions taken time outside my appointments to consult with other doctors/specialists to ensure I get the best overall treatment.

I had a consultation with Dr Miller at his Batemans Bay Rural Outreach Clinic, a 2 1/2 hour drive from home, where I only waited 10 minutes before being seen.
I found him to be very thorough, pleasant and most importantly, helpful, answering any questions I had in a simple to understand manner.
His diagnosis and subsequent plan of treatment has brought me considerable relief from pain, and improvement to my skin within only 2 days of beginning treatment.
Thank you Dr Miller.

All the negative reviews here are true. Dr Miller was very rude, ran very late and didn't seem to care less about my presentation. He got annoyed when I asked questions, like he just wanted to leave and move on to the next patient. I ended up presenting to hospital instead because my condition got so bad. Would definitely recommend seeing another dermatologist.

Dr Miller is absolutely useless. I waited six months to get an appointment with him, only for him to waste over $2,000 of my money ($230 per appointment). Not only did he not fix my problems, he was consistently over 1 hour late to every appointment. He would routinely disappear in the middle of an appointment for over 30 minutes with no explanation, leaving me to ask the receptionist where this very expensive Doctor had gone. Often he would be treating another patient, and on once occasion, he was laid back with his feet up on a conference call (!!!).
He gives absolutely no clarity on your treatment and leaves you in the dark and out of pocket. It really is a complete shock that he is still able to practice.
Given the lack of Dermatologists in Canberra, you'll likely have no choice, however if you do, please ask your GP for any other Dermatologist. You'll only waste your time and money with Dr Miller.
ANU should be ashamed to have this man as a Clinical Associate Professor.

Been going for years, it’s a busy practice but always look after urgent issues then and there - which I guess explains sometimes longer waiting periods. Highly recommend.

Excellent doctor. Invariably late, commonly an hour + wait. But he's worth it. He is curing cancer.

Would be nice to be on time just once
Just once that’s All I ask
Even rang thirty minutes before and they said he was on track
Still sat there for a hour

I have been a patient of Dr Miller for over 18 years. He provides an excellent service and has always been willing to discuss the treatment he is recommending. He does sometimes run a bit late on appointments but this is because he actually takes time to talk to his patients and listen to their comments. Would highly recommend him.

Dr Miller has been treating me for cancer-related skin lesions for about 20 years. Even though I usually have had to wait beyond the scheduled appointment time, this has not deterred me from attending. He is an expert in his profession and we are very fortunate to have him in the ACT. One needs to appreciate the many patients he sees each day with their various lesions some demanding instant surgery - hence the unexpected delays in appointment time. Its only for this reason that I rated 'punctuality' 4/5. I have found him to answer questions to my satisfaction. I repeat - the ACT is most fortunate to have his services and we should try to appreciate the difficulty of diagnosing and then treating so many patients in such a short time period.
