For starters, she is dual fellowship trained in Stroke/Vascular neurology and Headache medicine from Cleveland Clinic and Brigham and Women's Hospital, two top notched premier institutions, She is of course no longer at Faulkner, because she moved to a better opportunity!
People with 20 plus years of migraine headaches: do a reality check: there is no magic cure, it is extremely frustrating, but thats reality for you, I have known Dr Cardona as someone who is extremely well trained with compassion for her patients and would recommend her wholeheartedly

In reading the other reviews on Dr. Cardona I'm quite shocked. I have been seeing her for almost a year now and she is very knowledgeable, listens and got Botox for Migraines approved by my insurance company. I have already gone through one cycle and go for my next this Friday. I have been very pleased with the entire practice and I am very confident in Dr. Cardona. These reviews do not coincide with my experience so far. I'm glad I didn't read them first or I never would have followed through with Dr. Cardona. She is the best neurologist I've had so far!!

I agree with other 'rate-ers", dismissive, told me i should not return because motion/driving intensified headaches- said if driving/riding was a problem then I should just stay home. Wrote an Rx for a year without clear instructions, ended up toxic due to super high dose, caused more problems than solved. RUN. I have no idea how this headache clinic is considered 'good'. My Doc at Dana Farber told me a month ago she was no longer employed by Faulker but she is listed today...how would my doc. at a huge hospital even know if a doctor in a satellite hospital is gone if not for major issues?? Run from this Doctor, and from Faulkner if this is the type of Doctors they employ!!

I had almost the same experience as the previous person who commented on Dr. Cardona. I'm a migraine suffer of over 20yrs. After the last 2yrs my headaches have gotten progressively worse with no known cause. I've been getting about 7-10 migraines in a row over 4-6 day period with 3-4 recovery period about every month, presenting with aura. Needless to say they are extremely debilitating! I'm unable to drive, take care of myself or get out of bed. I was looking for some insight, possible testing and hoping for a specialists' opinion. Instead I was given more meds to try and told that I was lucky I didn't get them every day!!! What??!! She gave me very little info about what could be causing such an increase in the severity of my migraines. Told me to try B2(which is Riboflavin by the way). Neglecting to tell me the dosage(its 400mg-thank goodness for a great new neurologist I'm seeing that has also referred me to a cardiologist as a precaution among other things) I'm glad I've moved on

I went to the Graham Headache Center to see a headache specialist. However, it was very disappointing. All they told me was to take medicine that I had already taken. Even when I asked for preventative measures and was willing to explore life changing habits, I was only given more options of medicine to take. I didn't feel like the doctor was willing to listen. She had an agenda and that was all she was willing to consider. I was told that there is nothing I can do and that I would just have to live with my pain. What's the point in having a headache clinic if that is what they tell their patients? The doctors did not demonstrate that they were knowledgeable about headaches or how to help someone plan on how to deal with headache pain. It was very disappointing to go to a specialist and feel like they didn't know what they were talking about. If you are thinking of going to the Graham Headache Clinic, I hope you have better luck than I.
