I have been seeing her at AFM for the past 6 months. Her and Justin have been fantastic at treating me with my mental health and addiction issues. If she did not recommend sublocade to me I don't even believe I'd be here writing this review. They always take the time to talk to me and I never feel rushed. Thank you for everything:)

Not a good experience. She made assumptions and would not even give me an opportunity to speak without interrupting. No thank you.

This doctor is a monster. I had one apt with her as she was covering for my primary care physician. She is abusive and dangerous. I have filed an official complaint in an attempt to have her abuse of others stopped.

It recently had an intake apt with her for new family dr .... she was immediately questioning why I was on the medications I take, when I listed them off she said "what are you taking THAT for?" The "That" being my cyclobenzaprine muscle relaxer. I replied that I take it for my fibromyalgia and that I was diagnosed by rheumatologist in 2018. She replied with " oh! And that she wouldn't continue to prescribe that to me as it's harmful and there's no proof it works" I replied that if the patient is telling you it works it probably works. She compared my muscle relaxer to morphine and then She continued the conversation with "hmm.. soo do you have a job?" I replied no that I am on disability because I am in too much pain from my fibromyalgia. She asked " huh who signed off on that? What doctor ?" I told her that my nurse practitioner at the clinic I used to go at to has helped my file my disability assessment through EIA for the last 2 years. And in the middle of this I try and make sure I let her know that I would not be comfortable changing any of my medication at the moment because all of it is working quite well. She then started to get fussy with me and says she only deals with fact-baced medicine and that the best thing for fibromyalgia is exercise and she questioned whether or not I actually knew the all the treatments for fibro I told her that I already tried a few options like gabapentin and pregabalin but I had bad side effects and she said oh no that's not just the only treatment available for fibro. she then changed the topic to my depression and anxiety and asked what I had done to help myself .. I told her that I have tried almost all of the antidepressants available except for one or two and I have bad reaction to them and that in the past I have seen a counselor through victim services and I seen a community counselor that was at my community center, I told her that in the past year in I have not been able to secure any form of counseling because of the area I'm in now it's not accessible as it used to be being that it was right down the street from me where I used to live. The topic turned back to my medical history and she said that no one should have signed off on me for permanent disability for fibromyalgia and that it's not actually a real disability and I should not be on eia disability because that's for people with real disabilities. I got a little upset with her and started listing off my symptoms that I have to deal with everyday such as tingling pins and needles the feeling of bugs crawling all over my body extreme pain in almost every joint and I didn't even get to finish because she interrupted me and said oh I don't think that'll you'll be a good fit and then she said why don't you just call your other doctor and see if they'll continue taking you. I said don't worry I'll be calling them. Immediately called them extremely upset and crying and asked for my NP call me as soon as she can hopefully I'll get a call tomorrow. the only reason I was getting a new doctor is Because I moved to far away from this dr and am not in the catchment area for it and they said I couldn't continue there.
I didn't even get to the part about me using medical cannabis for pain relief I can't imagine how that would have gone off. The worst part of this is that I recently started concerta for my ADHD and my depression symptoms have been almost gone as well as my anxiety symptoms and I've been feeling better than I ever have and I've made it amazing progress and have had such a positive mindset lately and this set me back mental health wise alot. It's so hard when you have everyone around you doubting you and then you doubt yourself while you're literally crying in pain because the stress from everything eventually caused a huge fibro flare. Sigh 😓 don't go to this dr if u have any major health problems

She has been so wonderful with my parents at Access Fort Garry. They are elderly so definitely have lots going on. Dr. Mancer is so wonderful, she really takes the time to sit down with them and talk through what's going on and different ways of exploring issues. They love her, I have been impressed with the appointments I have accompanied them to. So glad they have ended up with her

I’ve been a patient since the end of 2015, in the beginning I felt her to be a sufficiently competent doctor. My medical history includes mental health and cardiac issues; I suffer from sever back problems resulting from Arthritis. Over the last year+ she has shown very little empathy towards my problems and I can only use over the counter medications. On my last visit (Nov. 2019), I told her again the severe pain I’m in. Her response was “how did I get here, can I dress and bathe myself, do I go grocery shopping, my response was the bus, yes, yes and yes. She tells my I’m functional, will always have pain and not disabled. That same week I received a call from the individual handling my CCP Disability application telling me that based on all the medical records provided and interviews that I most certainly qualify and have been approved for benefits. I wish I would have read the reviews posted on this site before agreeing to have her as my primary Dr. I urge anyone who has her as there Dr. to find a new one, and if you’re looking for a physician cross her of your list.

Not a kind or caring doctor at all. Would not listen to my concerns. I do not recommend.
