Only if there more available doctors in truro, I would definitely look to change from dr masoumi to another.
Always contradicts himself.

Dr. M often runs late, but that is due more to the lack of doctors in NS than any issue with him

Staff is great but he dismisses any concern I may have and has been very rude at times. I got some investigation from an on going issue from a student dr he had there....only then, did he agree to investigation. Thankfully, I have a new family dr. which did more for me in one appointment than Masoumi in 14 years.

Doctor Masoumi is misogynistic. He will not refer me to specialists, will not listen to my concerns and waves me off as an uneducated woman who knows nothing about her own health. I am so tired of him ignoring my needs as a patient. I would get another doctor but, well with the state of things in NS, I'm stuck with him unfortunately. On another note, Trudy, his receptionist, is absolutely amazing!

Dr Masoumi is an excellent doctor who cares about his patients. Sometimes appointments do not run on schedule, but only because he does not rush any patient, and sometimes there are situations where he attends patients in the local Truro hospital. Occasionally he helps to train medical students. He does both office visits and telephone consults.
