It must be the students writing nice things about him I was born and raised in Kingston know several people that went to see him not much luck I think a lot of it depends on your coverage if you're a queens employee or work at the hospital you might do all right Federal employees will get their foot in the door too you don't get very many follow-ups appointments if you're on ODSP he seems to think those type of people can fend for themselves if they have any further problems after the initial meeting he tells them to see there family doctor or go to a walk-in clinic

I was referred to dr Prost as he specializes in postpartum depression. I had to bring my baby to the appointment which i was told was ok. She is very colicky and screamed before i put her in her carrier and bounced her. Dr seemed annoyed at this. He told me i cant be depressed because I’m eating and meeting my babies needs. Despite me telling him i am having suicidal thoughts and have to put significant effort into not hurting myself. He shrugged it off telling me i was fine before escorting me out 25 minutes into the appointment.

I have been seeing Dr Prost for about 8 years. Saved my life. He and his staff are are above professional. He's kind and caring and listens. Together we worked on finding the right medications that made me sane. I am so fortunate I was referred to him.

He is negligent and cruel, or dim-wittted and incompetent, whichever it is, we should all complain.

I wish I could not give him any stars. He’s the absolute worst doctor and doesn’t even bother to see patients! Horrible bedside manner as well!

Dr Prost is an excellent doctor. He always knows what to say to make me feel better. I am very fortunate to have been able to see him. He’s one of the best.

Dr. Prost is a cold, distant, uncaring Psychiatrist that should not be treating patients. He is indifferent and will not take responsibility for his errors. He does more harm than good. He feels he does not have to answer to anyone. Given there is a shortage of Psychiatrists in the city and elsewhere, the hospital is reluctant to take action against his wrongdoings. His comments and attitude can harm individuals and he doesn't care. I would not recommend anyone go to see him or be prepared to have more anxiety or problems than before you went to see him.
