Dr. Plotsky has NO BOARD CERTIFICATIONS yet presents himself as a "Internal Specialist" or "Gerontology Specialist". Not illegal, but highly misleading

I liked Deborah Rost, and she left. I liked Dr. Kang, and she left. My biggest issue is that they rarely return phone calls. I have faxed, as well, with no response. I had to call and remind them to send my labs, and I have had to remind them to reauthorize prescriptions. I am ready to find another internist.

Dr. Plotsky is not the problem, it is his staff and his P.A. EXTREMELY RUDE and has no idea what she is doing. Extremely hard to get an appointment with Dr. Plotsky himself. The receptionist has noo sympathy, or manners. I am changing my primary care ASAP. Good luck to whoever enters that office!

I used to go to Dr. Plotsky, I had fined a different doc, because of insurance. As of Jan 2011 I will have BCBS. I'm going back. I haven been happy, since I left the first time. I think that what some interpret as rudeness on the part of staff, is really “I’m busy and I can’t hold your hand right now”

Dr. Plotsky has been very nice to me and helpful in my research on my still undiagnosed problem. I only wish he had a more extensive knowledge, since, as much as I appreciate a physician's honest "I do not know", it feels like too much if it comes for every question you ask. His staff treated me just fine, no complaints.

Dr. Plotsky treated my husband by writing one presciption after the next. When he would have side effects from the meds, Dr. Plotsky would just write another prescription. He treated my husband like he was a hypochondriac. Finally my husband went to see another doctor. This new doctor referred to my husband as a "walking pharmacy." He got him off just about all the meds and now my husband feels sooo much better.It is my opinion that Dr. Plotsky has no business being a top rated doctor by Washingtonian magazine.

Dr. Plotsky and Dr. Kang are very helpful and will take the time to review everything to help you understand. They follow-up and make sure the patient is prgoressing. The PA Paula needs to lighhten up.

Dr. Plotsky will spend whatever time you need during a physical. I really appreciate it. He is not in this for the money and is a caring physician. I would recommend highly.

i felt the need to continue.i wanted to comment on some of the reviews below.first lets make something clear.i agree thaT deb rost was and is wonderful.i only saw her once, and she was very helpful,but then she left.i think it is safe to understand why!the front reception arrogance,the other non-helpful staff.they really just dont care.i just want to know why these people do what they do if they make so many people feel horrible.someone said below(sounded like paula was complaining)that 2 many people come in for unreal stuff.is a tumor unreal?i even suggested it to her and she nearly laughed in my face.i may loose my hearing,and they(my doctors who actually care) will work hard to save the balance and facial nerves.trying to get the word out that you just cannot trust this woman.she is a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PA.YOU HAVE NO BUISNESS LOOKING AFTER PEOPLES HEALTH PAULA!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Plotsky was arrogant, sarcastic and surly. I told him his office staff was rude. His comment was that I should find another Dr. compatible w/my "unrealistic expectations". I have since found another Dr. This Dr. is the worse I have ever gone to and I've gone to many.
