The nature of a relative's knee injury was known and communicated to hospital staff. In steps Favor: a Dr. who obviously was as inexperienced as she was young. The examination was a joke; she barely touched the patient or did any assessment of the injury. Instead, we were told that there are ligaments; tendons in the knee. After a non-examination and non-diagnosis, the doctor left only to bestow upon us yet another incompetent medical tech that obviously hadn't been trained AT ALL in wrapping patients' knees. The patient's knee was inflamed and she was in pain, yet was offered no anti-inflam or pain reliever during the stay; nor was any sort of fluid-reducing procedure done, as had been the case the last time she visited a doctor for the same injury. instead, the Dr prescribed them at the end of said non-diagnosis and was asked to follow up with her fam doctor, even though she told them that she didnt have one. I have a lot more to say, but theres a character limit.

I had been throwing up for 6 days and diahreah for 6 days and had a golf ball size lump that would appear out of nowhere on my temple when i blew my nose...she said well you appear to be ok since we cant see the lump at this time..(it comes and goes) but we can give you a cat scan if you wish but its not going to show anything, its up to you if you want one...also your blood work came back and it appears you are hydrated but since they already put the i.v. in your arm we can hydrate you if you choose but you dont need it..I said why would I want any of this if you as a doctor are telling me that I dont need it? She again stated that its my choice...I said how do you know a cat scan wont find anything , I had a brain tumor and maybe theres some scar tissue thats being bothered everytime I blow my nose and thats why my temple is popping out as it is...she said well I know the cat scan wont show a brain tumor. I got up and off the table and was so discourraged from the way she was talking.
