My family and I were seen by Dr. Bagel. Her front desk staff was very rude. When I spoke to Dr. Bagel, she said that they would submit our claims to our dental insurance. The receptionist made us pay for our services upfront. The receptionist told me we did not have real insurance. I then asked for a print HCFA 1500 claim form to submit to our insurance, and she had no idea what I ment. When I called my insurance two weeks later, they received not insurance claim. I called the office to see if the claims were sent, and was told they were. A week later I received a notice from my insurance company that they received claims for us, with no subscriber name or subscriber ID on the claim. The claim needed to be resubmitted. I had to call the office again to have them correct the claim and submit it. Once Dr. Bagel's office got paid it took forever to get reimbursed the money we paid up front. Needless to say her office is managed poorly. Don't go there unless you are self pay

My family went to Dr. Bagel awhile ago, after visiting other dentists, orthodontists we found out our family's care was very poor. my sons teeth that she said to pull , needed spacers and she never told us therefore he had to have braces. i have tmj which she never identified my new dentist told me my teeth were very grinded i now have to wear 2 retainers to bed. On my husbands teeth she left to much space between the crown- the contact space so food gets caught all the time and she was very sloppy with putting the crown on with glue so he got an infection with the gums. I also was extremely nervous and uncomfortable going there which made her uncomfortable.
