Love the mouth piece hate working with the clinic. Need a replacement because your mouthpiece was lost or damaged? Be prepared to wait 3 weeks because god forbid you need to breathe at night any sooner. Don’t worry it’s their process they tell me. Oh? You don’t have a CPAP at home ( no that’s why we have the mouth piece) - too bad. Oh you needed a rush? You should have mentioned that during the worthless nanadatory visit because dropping off your molds to get the process started isn’t an option. Well I thought holy cow! 3 weeks? I’m going on a trip and need them sooner. That must sound like I don’t need a rush. Hate working with the team but the device has worked wonders. Don’t ever be late! Their time is what is most important.

Dr. Roger Roubal's response
Glad to hear you love the appliance! However, we are sorry to hear you feel you’ve had a poor experience with the office. One of the downsides of an oral appliance vs. a CPAP is the time it takes for treatment to start – we completely agree with you. That being said, these are custom-fit medical devices that have to go through FDA-approved laboratories for fabrication, and there are only a handful of them in the entire country. Unfortunately that means the process can be slower than any of us want it to be sometimes. The good news is that there are some new products in the market that aim to help alleviate this problem in the near future, to make the days without treatment as minimal as possible. To address your comment about time – we actually value our patients’ time very, very much, which is why we schedule one patient per time slot, instead of double and triple booking. We don’t want you to come to our office and sit in the waiting room. We expect our patients to come on time, and we expect to see you on time!

I've enjoyed a great experience with this office. I was treated by Dr Brigdon and am extremely satisfied with my appliance. I'm sleeping so much better, as is my husband as a result. I feel refreshed in the morning now instead if groggy with a slight headache. The office staff runs like a well oiled machine and I appreciate their reminders so I don't forget my appointments.

The staff is very professional, polite and competent. They are down right nice. After having a CPAP for several yrs I moved to an appliance. 5 yrs later I can still say it’s the best thing I’ve ever done.

I have gone to Dr Roubal's office since last December and feel like I have been treated fairly. I told the staff that I worked a rotating shift and that my hours could change without notice. They assured me that they could work with me so I went ahead and had them make my appliance. Where the problem comes in is that 1 time their technician called in sick so I get a phone call informing me that we had to rescedule my appointment to another day. I had taken time off of work to be able to meet on that day. To make a long story short that happened 2 times and them my schedule had gotten changed 2 times because of work. The first time they let it go and then on the 2nd time they charged me $50 because I inconvenienced them. I talked to Jodi and told her that I had taken off of work to meet my appointment and asked her if I should charge them for my vacation hours and she quickly informed me that it didn't work like that. Very arrogant, I sent them their all important to them $50 and informed Jodi that I wouldn't be back. Her reply was ok and I will be informing your primary Dr that you're wearing an appliance without further follow up visits. Sorry but you can take that $50, it's not about the money it's about when someone calls in sick you should be professional enough to have someone who can back them up. It's not only your arrogant time that's important, your patience time is why you have a business. Jodi was all too quick to let a patient go and try to threaten to let my Dr know. You got your $50, that's all that was important to you anyway but you won't get another dime from me.

Rec'd a voicemail to call back and tried a few times. By the time they called back I couldn't get in for another month. Then I had to cancel that appointment and couldn't get in for another month and a half. Need to quit advertising for more clients and make time for the ones you have

I really wish there was another dentist in Omaha who did sleep apnea dental appliances. I would move my business elsewhere in a heartbeat. While I have gotten what I needed, and Dr. Roubal is nice, his entire practice is all about the bottom line and getting paid. You will be nickeled and dimed for everything. Sure, you can get a new bite plate. That'll be $20. Need more bands for your appliance. No problem - just give me your credit card number and after I run the charge I'll drop them in the mail to you. Don't get me wrong - he has a right to make a living. But you needn't be so obvious that you see me as a walking dollar sign and not a patient that you genuinely care about. And then you will be asked to come back for periodic visits - not because you actually need to be treated; but if you don't come in, how can they bill your insurance and continue making money off you? It's just disappointing; and apparently his new partner is following in his partner's footsteps.

Dr. Roger Roubal's response
Thank you for the feedback, and I’m sorry you feel that way! Dr. Roubal is passionate about treating sleep apnea and snoring. I can assure you he is driven by outcome and certainly not by money. We never want anyone to feel like they are being nickeled and dimed, and would hope the value you see from our team and in your health outweighs any cost you incur. I can confidently tell you we have found no other office in the country that does what we do, at the level we do it, at as low of a cost to the patient, as our office. Our goal always is to help our patients get their apnea and snoring controlled so they can normalize health risks and improve their quality of life.

You need to get a better staff! I am completely turned off. The doctor was nice, but his staff is just rude. Not all of them, just the one with the big and fake looking teeth!

I had my first visit with Dr. Roubal and his staff yesterday. They were all very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I felt like Dr. Roubal took as much time as I needed to answer all my questions. His testing was extremely thorough and I learned a lot more about my sleep apnea condition. I am excited and looking forward to working with Dr. Roubal's office to find a dental device that works for me.
