After being misdiagnosed by another DPM who told me after an MRI that the ligaments at my right ankle were torn & given an expensive stiff leather boot to wear for one year being in terrible pain I went to Dr Tallis. I had an x-ray taken there and he said I needed a new ankle because my pain was caused by "bone on bone" pain'. He said that the ligaments were not torn. Everything that he did and said went perfectly with very little pain and I recovered quickly without any physical therapy needed. That was done 9/16/2009. Is there a coincidence that his name in two letters off the word talus: which is the uppermost bone of the proximal row of bones of the anklebone? A great caring guy with a perfect sense of humor

The procedure I had was an ankle replacement. He changed the quality of my life as I can now walk, run, ski, hike, etc. I haven't been able to do those things with my family for years!

Dr. Tallis is on the top of his game. I tore two ligaments off my ankle and was scheduled for surgery. I told Dr. Tallis I was uneasy about the surgery. Dr. Tallis reassured me everything would be good. He gave me his cell phone number and said that if I had any questions day or night don't hesitate to call. After that I knew I was in good hands. A week after surgery I had my follow up appointment. He told me my ankle was on track for a full recovery. Then we sat and talked about our families for about five minutes! What doctor does that now? I would recommend Dr. Tallis to anyone. A really good guy

DR. Tallis is a very knowledgeable dr.and has provided me with an overall good experience so far with my operation and followup therapy. His staff though does not reply back or consult the dr. on the patients needs. All in all I would highly recommend Dr. Tallis.

What is with the negativity on the reviews? We recently saw Dr. Tallis and he seems to be very qualified and has an excellent bedside manner. He is educated and knowledgable about a multifractured heal. He went to Russia to train in the procedure and teaches it hear in the US. We have not had the surgery yet but the guy is a very kind and intelligent man. We have seen him 3 times so far . He was careful to unrap the bandage and check for any pressure sores that could happen under a bandage. So far I think he is very compitent
