She was a wonderful doctor; I wish she hadn't retired

She is the worst family GP ever. No sympathy for patients and is rude and always in a rush to get you to leave. I heard she retired to pursue cosmetics

Dr strovskia was my GP. I had an accident at work and went to a walk in clinic. The walk in dr kept insisting it was an abdominal tear when I was telling him it was coming from my hip. I followed up with my family dr, dr strovskia and she blatantly said I’ve been diagnosed by the walk in dr she’s not going to go against what he said because of Wcb purposes. I told her it’s my hip and not my abdominal and she dismissed me for three years. 8 walk in drs later I was diagnosed with a hip labral tear. Wcb would no longer cover this. I missed three years of work with no coverage and I lost my life savings all because dr strovskaia wouldn’t give me her own diagnosis because she didn’t want to deal with Wcb with an alternative diagnosis. Now I have severe ptsd when it comes to drs. She ruined my life. All she had to do was give me a proper examination and she wouldn’t. Glad this dr cares more about what wcb thinks of her then caring for her patients. She actually quit being a GP and only does cosmetics.

Normally go to my dentist but have anxiety around getting poison aka Botox injected into my face. So went to a medical doctor figuring that was safer. We tried to talk about side effects but she says in her own words "I don't like to talk about it, it scares me. " Of course but not before mentioning that three people in Vancouver had their eyes frozen from Botox. This was after she injected me. When I had a panic attack she said she shouldn't have given it to me because of my anxiety which I had already told her I had, offered me an Ativan, then gave me 500 dollars worth of service and product for free.!!! Well part of my anxiety was from when my vision went blurry right away. She injected me close to the tear gland to prevent eyelid droop. Never heard of that before but she goes to conferences. Now I have that too. And I followed all the aftercare instructions and then some. No one said vision loss was a side effect. Eye doctor said I now have corneal problems as a result of the dry eyes. I feel sad and stupid. But couldn't cry if I tried. The eye gel to help the dry eye is expensive btw. Lips look great, from what I can see of them. And there is no record on my end that I went to see her because ta da, it was free.

Now I remember someone warning me about her, to just get lip filler cus she gave someone eye problems. But it's been so long I forgot! I remember seeing the viles and thinking oh that looks like a alot of fluid. I asked for a modest amount but who knows what she did besides mess up my face and vision.

Dr. Strovskaia was my family doctor for many years until she suddenly retired in April this year. Now she does only cosmetic procedures.

Galina Strovski is amazing. She is extremely professional and also caring. Her office is organized and she is on time. After my first facial treatment my face feels more relaxed. I actually feel less tense and my brow is not tight and furrowed. I didn't know how tight my facial muscles were until she treated me.

Dr. Strovskaia has never dismissed my concerns. She takes me more seriously than I take myself and always investigates my health needs to the fullest extent. I appreciate that I never feel I have to push or advocate for myself with her, but she will advocate for me to recieve the most thorough care possible.
