Dr. Emma Caplan was one of the very best doctors that Galen Medical could ask for and so many of her patients miss her since she left. I don’t know how anyone could say anything negative about her. I know that we miss her terribly. Sometimes it’s hard to find a doctor who is both knowledgeable and easy to talk too but she actually listened. We miss you Dr. Caplan!!

Dr. Caplan has been my primary care for two years. She is knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. As an RN, I can see that she is a skilled diagnostician. I recently helped my mother get established with Dr. Caplan as her MD had retired, and mom asked me to go along for first appointment; Dr. Caplan was equally as thorough, and my mother really liked her, too. Office nurse is a little grumpy...

Ms. Caplan has been my GP for app. 3yrs. I was dubious at first because she was recommended to me by my mother-in-law. She takes time to listen to you and gives you input as to whatever condition you suffer from at the time. She is thorough and works well together with staff. I really can't think of anything negative that has happened during my visits.

I have been dealing with chronic neck and back pain for over 10 years and when I moved to Chattanooga I was referred to her by another doctor. All she did was let me explain my problem and my pain which was at a level 9. She also took blood. She then tried me on Cymbalta, Effexor, Lyrica and an anti inflammatory. I kept telling her they were not working and I was still in so much pain and after the last one didn't work she looked at me and said I dont' know what to do and I refuse to give you narcotics.Not one time did she get Xrays or and MRI.I feel like she was only thinking that I wanted pills & didn't believe me! Today im with a new dr and they found out I have a fractured neck and degenerative discs, and arthritis throughout my back.So thank you for doing nothing but make me spend money for you not to help me...I don't even know how people can be doctors...NEVER go to this doctor..she won't give a crap about you or your symptoms or even try and figure it out for that matter!

Dr. Caplan has always been wonderful to me. Like the other reviewer, I do not believe at all that she would ever have yelled at a patient. As for her not talking much, as far as I'm concerned, if any doctor is not talking to you IT'S YOUR OWN FAULT for not speaking up and asking for information. My only problem with Dr. Caplan--her hospital priviledges are with Memorial, a Catholic hospital who's views on women's health I COMPLETELY HATE. Made certain up front that Dr. Caplan had no problem prescribing birth control pills or I would have gone elsewhere. I like her, but I always ask lots of questions and take control of my own health care.

I am very happy with Emma Caplan as my doctor. She is always very helpful and actually seems to care. Dr. Caplan yelled at a patient? Yeah right! Hahahaha! Anyway - I would recommend her. She's very smart and does a very good job.

I have had a fantastic experience with this physician both times I have gone to see her, once for a check-up, and once for a sick visit. Very friendly, and seemed very genuine, which is not something I have found with all doctors I have seen. Took plenty of time with me and made me feel very comfortable. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a primary care physician.

I went to see her for the first time and had my yearly checkup she seems to realy care about my health and my concerns she did not make me feel rushed or silly for any of the questions that I asked and she took the time to anwser all of them when my labs came back the staff notifed my within 3 days of my visit I will continue to reccomend her to every one I know also her office posts your labs on the website so you can access your results any time thanks to every one in the office for making my visit so nice
