First of all, let me begin by saying I never really write reviews -- but after our experience with Dr. Dhillon and his staff, I felt it was the only right thing to do seeing as they have changed my outlook on dentists all together.

After searching for a bit to find a dentist that would fit our needs, we came upon this dentistry gem. The care we received at this office is superior to any others we've ever been to. Dr Dhillon and his staff are very helpful, pleasant, extremely professional, and excellent in their field.

I personally had a bad experience in the past with a different dentist which left me VERY fearful so I avoided any dental offices like the plague for 2 years. With that said, we can't rave enough about this office. Dr Dhillon and the entire staff have made us feel welcomed from our very first visit. We went into the office where we were greeted by his charming and friendly staff who made us feel comfortable and welcomed. When I was taken into the examining room, I explained to Dr Dhillon my fears of dentists in general so he patiently talked me through the entire process and made all of the necessary accommodations available to help me feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible.

My husband and I felt like valued patients and not just another set of numbers added to their list. If you are looking for a dentist where you can trust in their work and professionalism, then we would highly recommend this dental office to you, as we did to our friends and our family.

Oh, I almost forgot to share. It's very bright and spacious. They have state of the art equipment with beautiful large windows in each of the examining rooms which may also act as a beautiful distraction during your procedure.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST. I have had the same experience that other "one star" comments. I went in for a routine checkup and phoned ahead to say I had a filling that fell out and needed tending. I was told I could at least get a temporary filling. After waiting around, get an unasked for consult for Invisalign. I was asking where the doctor was, i was told he went out to get contacts (during MY appointment. After 1 hour, he finally came in, he looked in my mouth for less than 30 seconds (most of that was spent on him looking at the wrong tooth to be fixed even though the assistant told him more than once and he had new xrays to look at. He finally agreed on the tooth and the fact it needed fixing. I said, well can we fix it, like now? He said "I just do what they tell me".. A wasted hour, no work done and I was charged for a consultation. I was so anxious to get out of there, I didnt question it at the time but I'm phoning to get it reversed. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST Why didnt I research him before?? I am kicking myself.

This is probably the best dental clinic I've been to! He provided me with enough knowledge and info before treating my teeth, which made me feel a lot more comfortable because I was able to find out what I would be going through. Also, the next time I visited him, he did not forget to check on the previous treatment I had received. I was surprised how he still remembered me and exactly what was wrong with my teeth even after a few months since I first visited him. I am usually very picky with choosing clinics, especially when it comes to anything related to my own health. However, after visiting him only for twice, I knew I wouldn't go to anywhere else.

This dentist is terrible! Beware! Scams filling surfaces (bills you more), fillings fall out next day, and you can search him on the college for being previously suspended. Steer clear.

THE best Dentist EVER! I've been a patient for many years now. My review is definitely long over due. I initially came to him for a tooth ache but have had several old fillings replaced and two of my wisdom teeth extracted. I now enjoy going to the dentist office for my cleanings. I'm not afraid of feeling any pain, discomfort or judgment like I used to at my old dentist office. I was always embarrassed to come in for my cleanings so I'd always end up rescheduling. Now I come in to see their fantastic hygienist, every six months! His dental assistant, is very sweet and makes you feel very comfortable. She always has an answer to any questions you may have. Extremely helpful! The front office staff are always great at sending appointment reminders and accommodating my follow ups to best fit my needs. Great service! Everyone in this office is amazing.

I've been here three times and absolutely love it!
Anyways, I was looking up local Dentist places and saw that Uptown had got some great reviews and it was also easy to get to from where I lived so I decided what the heck and just made an appointment for Cleaning and also whitening.
The day of the appointment I met Dr. Dhillon he assessed my xrays and told me about my cavities and that I should come back for a further cleanings as per the hygenist. He recommended that I do it together and make two appointments.
Hygenist took care of my cleaning and she was really sweet and I enjoyed chatting with her. Each appointment took about 1 hr, luckily I didn't work those days because my mouth was numb. The team is really helpful when it comes to checking to see how you're doing during the process of being at the dentist. I made an appointment for a possible crown.
Definitely 5 stars for Dr. Dhillon and his amazing staff at Uptown dental!!

Beginning of one day I wake up with EXTREME wisdom tooth pain after never having tooth pain my entire life so far and knew I needed the one causing it pulled asap. Called my normal dentist which referred me here and was told they could do an emergency pull the next day, but could only pull one although I needed two pulled. After arriving for my appointment and speaking with doctor he calmed me down as I HATE dentists and gave me all of my options for getting the tooth/teeth removed and let me choose. Went with the emergency pull and after thinking it over told me he can actually just pull both that I needed done. It's now been about 8 weeks and mouth has entirely healed. Came back in about a week after the extraction due to some mild pain and was immediately taken care of. Seriously I'm a 24 year old man that's terrified of dentists and they handled everything far beyond I've seen a dentist do including me being a chatterbox while on the laughing gas. If you need to get a tooth pulled or dental work definitely come check this place out! I'll be referring everybody I know here!

Dr Dhillon is the worst dentist I’ve ever been to and completely unprofessional. He walked into my consultation drinking a take away coffee, didn’t bother to introduce himself and looked in my mouth for all of 10 seconds. I was complaining about being in severe pain and once he found one thing wrong he never thought to look at any of my other teeth to see if they may be contributing to my pain aswell. When I asked about my other teeth and if I had any cavities he replied saying he didn’t know and would need to take an x-ray. Despite the fact that he didn’t even look at my other teeth, I have never known any dentist to need to take an x-ray as the initial step to check for cavities. Once he discovered the cause of my pain he tried to end the consultation, sending me away knowing what I already knew with no solution. After I insisted on having the required x-ray taken he advised me that he would be referring me to a specialist as he was unable to remove my wisdom teeth. His exact response was “I could, but it would take too long”.
Before I left I made it clear I would require a letter for my insurance company. On my way out the receptionist confirmed I would receive it within 2-3 working days. I had to phone 4 times over 2 weeks and repeat myself every single time before I received the letter. All the while in sever pain with a time sensitive insurance policy. At first I was told the manager had saved a draft and the receptionist agreed to email it through the same day and that my referral was taking a while because the specialist was busy. The second time I phoned I was told that receptionist was now on holidays and there was no record of my letter on file but that she would refer me to the specialist that day. Which clearly meant I had never been referred in the first place. I phoned again to find they were still waiting on the manager and then I received a voicemail from the manager saying she'd been away sick and asking what the letter was in regard to. There was clearly no communication and I was clearly lied to by the initial staff member.

When discussing my experience with family friends another girl had a similar experience where Dr Dhillon allegedly ate a McDonalds meal during her consultation. She then met a women who had had her front tooth broken in half by the same dentist. Bottom line is Uptown Dental is unprofessional, unhelpful, incompetent and I do not recommend them.

Dr. Dhillon and his team were amazing as usual. I love coming here for basically everything (my veneers, cleaning, root canal and teeth whitening). They do an exceptional job and I'm always treated like family. If you are looking for a good dentist this is the place to come. Highly recommend!!!!

He has incredible bed-side manner, thoroughly went through the process, recommended a strategy to address all the goals and he did everything as promised. His work is exemplary because he shows you the work on a screen. There were times I could tell he wasn't satisfied so he re-did a few steps until it looked perfect. He does not settle and is a perfectionist!

They reconfirm all of their appts via text which I found helpful.

The hygienists are friendly and thorough as well.

The office is modern, clean, and the office staff is extremely friendly. Would highly recommend
