This review has been long overdue as Dr. Gheriana practically saved my life back in 2016. My family physician forwarded Dr. Gheriana my bloodwork results which were done at St. Paul’s emergency because of frequent and heavy nose bleeding. He noticed something was not right and followed up with additional bloodwork and the results were referred to St. Paul’s haematology. Subsequent investigations confirmed I have lymphoma and started my chemotherapy treatments immediately. Today, I’m still seeing Dr. Gheriana for sinus infection which required surgery and took 5 months to recover. Dr. Gheriana is kind, attentive, thorough, and with tons of patience.

I'm so grateful that my GP referred me to see Dr. Gheriani in 2019. I've had sleep apnea since I was a child (I'm 30 now) and he suggested surgery to remove my adenoids and large tonsils. Dr. Gheriani found a small bump in my sinus and had it sent for a biopsy. Thankfully the bump was benign, but he noticed something else and referred me to see a hematologist. Thanks to the hematologist and Dr. Gheriani's thorough care, it was discovered that I have a blood condition which helped to understand past health issues. Then my adenotonsillectomy surgery was booked for 2020 but because of the pandemic and personal health issues, the surgery was rescheduled numerous times. Dr. Gheriani's receptionist, Wanda, was patient, very understanding, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. My surgery was finally booked for April 2022 and I saw Dr. Gheriani for post-op a month later. Since having my adenoids and tonsils removed, I no longer have sleep apnea :) Dr. Gheriani and Wanda are the absolute best! If you have sleep apnea, get your GP to refer you to Dr. Gheriani!

It took a year to get an appointment with this guy, his office lost the first referral and when they received a duplicate referral I had to start from the bottom again. Note that my condition had caused a near fatal incident! Unconscionable.
Once I started to "see" him (virtual only) he referred me to other specialists and sent me for various tests, or course all consecutively rather than in parallel - that would have been too logical. After another year of this he concluded that my problem was with my lungs and sent me off to a pulmonologist. In spite of my requests I was never seen in person and at the end he said that if I insisted he would see me but it wouldn't change his diagnosis.
The final conclusion of the pulmonologist was that the problem is my sinuses - go figure. I requested that he refer me to a different ENT, anyone but Gheriani!
I feel as though I was used as a means to churn fees with no sincere attempt to actually diagnose the problem. Dr Gheriani's final written report didn't even match what he had told me verbally (the report said allergies - so why the pulmonologist?).
All in all I give Dr Gheriani and "A" ... for Abysmal.

He is the best doctor i ever seen during the last 20 years, as a surgeon, as specialist doctor, but the most important thing is as a human. we all noticed that most of the doctors now a day care about money more than caring about the patient as a human being need special care. I highly recommend this doctor as the best ENT specialist.
