Only interested in utsw and her personal agenda. Will spend lots of time with patient and listens but will not care about your wants or preferences . So she listens but really doesnt. Does not motivate a patient in fact I left feeling lost and depressed

I was seeing Dr. Bates for my MS. It seems she is very knowledgeable. However, it does not seem she wants to "work" with you. What I mean is that I wanted to try a medication I had heard about that had showed great results. She didn't appear to want to hear much about the medication (LDN) and only wanted to push Tysabri (or so it seemed that way). I asked her about LDN several times with no prescription being written for me. I was so happy I had finally gotten into the MS Clinic at SW Medical, but I am so dis-appointed with the outcome. I am currently seeking a new neurologist or go back to the one I had been seeing.
