This medical office may not be suitable if you prefer a doctor who takes
the time to listen and coordinate your care when you are seriously ill.
The care provided here feels rushed and impersonal, with the doctor
attending to patients every 15 minutes or so. lf you only require an
annual check-up or have a minor ailment, this may not be an issue.
However, if you become seriously ill and require specialist attention,
you may receive a referral without any coordination of care or
communication between the doctors. The doctor, Michael Cohen, is so
busy that he may miss essential details, such as significant weight loss
or medication changes. Furthermore, the staff may not update your
medication list correctly, and your labs will only be considered normal
if they are not significantly over or under the expected values. If you
need a specific lab test or have concerns about your care, you may face
judgment, pushback, or scolding. You may also find it challenging to get
the necessary testing and care, and the staff may even refuse to keep
you as a patient. In summary, Dr. Cohen, Tina, the office manager, and
the rest of the staff are absolutely not the best choice if you need
personalized medical attention and care coordination.

Dr.Cohen & his staff are the best.I cannot imagine seeing another doctor for care.He is very kind,patient & takes his time to listen.Does testing as needed.Has so much compassion...Many doctors could take lessons from Dr.Cohen!
I am so happy I found him @ SouthCoast...
The office staff is always courteous &the rooms are kept clean...
I give them an overall A++++

He listens to everything I say. He takes his time with me and I don't feel like he is rushing me out the door. I had a great doctor in Ohio and I was afraid I wouldn't find one I liked as well when I transferred to Savannah.
I did with Dr Cohen and his staff. So happy I was recommended by a friend to go there. I never once regretted it.

My and my wife have gone to him for over 5 years, he's always been helpful. My wife is chronically ill with multiple conditions and he's always up to date with her status (reads every memo/test our other docs send him). Even when shes not the paying patient he'll ask how she's doing to make sure she's ok. Very friendly down to earth guy and he's not afraid to admit when he doesn't know something.

The dr and his staff were very nice, but his lack of knowledge and effort to reveal the problem were not acceptable. He made no attempt to get to the root of the issue. I went on to see another physician that discovered I had a serious bacterial infection in my stomach.
