I see a trend, here. I, too, was referred to this doctor over a year ago, had an MRI and ear test prior.

They called to tell me my MRI is negative, and when I asked to see the actual doctor, I was told in no uncertain terms I would not be seeing him unless I wanted tubes in my ears.

I did not want tubes in my ears, and I asked for an appointment to speak with the actual doctor. Said they'd call back, never did. My doctor tried to get in touch but they would never respond. In the meanwhile, an acquaintance was seen by another ENT in three weeks. Now I have to start all over with another referral, while my condition continues to worsen.

Is this a private clinic or something? There has to be a reason. Regardless, don't even waste your time with this doctor/clinic.

I have been suffering with ear issues (tinnitus) for over 10 years and have been to 2 other ENT doctors and no help. Was referred to Dr. Ho in December 2022 and have yet to see him. Was passed off to his assistant who only did hearing tests and every appointment was told "Dr. Ho is very very busy". So very unprofessional!!!

DR, Ho operated on both my ears and although I still have hearing impairment, it has been greatly reduced. He has great personality and makes one feel very much at ease and confident in his abilities.

Took my son in and it took forever for the Doctor to to show up. We were told a CT scan was vital. Did the CT and never received a diagnosis no matter how many times I tried to call and get a follow up appointment. The phone just rings and rings, no one EVER answers! Terrible!

After being referred in March of 2018, I have yet to see the Dr. It was initially a 6 month wait that turned into 16 months that turned into 22 months that turned into COVID, that turned into my referral being “closed” that turned into booking time off to get ANOTHER hearing test because now the initial one was too old…that turned into still no apt to see the Dr. I am over 50 and this was the absolute worst health care related business I’ve ever had to work with. Throughout the years I’ve probably called this centre 10 times and never received a call back. Tinnitus is such a debilitating ailment to have to try to cope with and I feel angry every time I think about this referral and the lack of help and support I have received.

Dr. Ho has been always amazing and kind to me, I came in for an ear issue back in 2014 and we got surgery done right away. He has now done three of my surgeries and has been really helpful so now I know everything that’s going on.

I’ve been suffering with all sorts of ear issues my whole life, been through many doctors that were not helpful at all. Got an ear surgery done that later caused more issues so I was referred to Dr.Ho and I couldn’t be more greatful, Just had a surgery done by him which he fixed the issues the other surgeon caused, he went above and beyond to explain everything in detail and make me feel reassured and comfortable. Easily the best surgery experience i’ve had as I have had many.

I took my mother-in-law for an appointment. Her hearing was tested by the audiologist and then she was seen by his nurse. Both ladies were lovely and professional. We were then told that after the nurse consulted with Dr. Ho, a second appointment would be set up to see him and get treatment for vertigo. A few weeks later we received an email referring my mother-in-law to a different ear specialist - with no explanation as to why. We also received notification of an appointment for a CT which was scheduled for a year later. Since my mother-in-law is well into her 90's this seemed bizarre. I contacted the office to find out why she was being referred to a different doctor and was told that Dr. Ho has a very long wait list. If this was the case, I question why the original appointment was made - I suspect just to be able to bill for it? In the past week I found out that the appointment for the CT was not forwarded to the new doctor, although I had been reassured that it had been sent. I contacted Dr. Ho's office again and was told they don't forward appointment confirmations that I should do it myself. I find the clerical support staff to be very rude and unhelpful. This is a terrible way to treat a woman in her 90's - she deserves more respect. I can't rate Dr. Ho on his knowledge since we were never able to actually meet with him but since I have to provide a rating I will rate him well based on his reputation.

I can't say enough about Dr Ho and his staff. I was so worried about my hearing loss and they made me feel so at ease. Dr Ho is very knowledgeable and has great bedside manner. Yes, he doesn't always run on time however, what specialist does?? I would be worried if he ran on time because that would show he doesn't take the time in the room with his patients. I highly recommend Dr Ho and his clinic.
