I have been a patient of Dr.Choi for over 6 years now, if you had seen my medical history, you'd know why this is a big deal. Dr.Choi is kind, patience and knowledgeable. He knows how to explain your condition and treatment plan in layman's term. His diagnostic skill is spot on. Cannot ask for a better cardiologist.

I met him 12 December of 2005 as emergency patient with blood markers consistent with inmminent heart attack. He explained possible findings in detail to me and my wife with precise but warm words of possibilities. He proceeded with angioscopy showing almost total blockage of left anterior descending cardiac artery, very near diagonals. He then informed my wife (I had preferred sedation during procedure) of necessity of performing catheterization (I don't remember if that is the correct term) and placed a "Sirolimus-eluting Coronary stent". Post procedure remained one day in hospital and was released with full instructions and a schedule for cardio rehabilitation. His follow up visits and additional check up tests over the years have kept me well and improving. He is quick but deliberate when it is warranted, explains everything and has responded right away when some other symptoms needed change in medicine or dosages.
