Been going to Dr. Ott for 20 years and he takes the time to listen even if it takes 20 or 30 minutes. He always gives you time to tell him all your symptoms and he discusses your concerns. He is one of the last good ones!

This is one one of the Docs that we need to clone! No one is as nice and attentive to all his patients needs. A true blessing from God

Dr. Ott is great and works within my comfort zone. His Bellaire office staff is borderline at best. I have been a patient of his over 20 years and will keep going back to him.

He actually takes the time to get to know his patients, explaint to you in easy terms what you are dealing with, and explains the treatment plan. I also like his new offices - very nice. He has been a trusted doctor to our entire family for about 15 years.

I've have been a patient of Dr. Ott for 15 years. He didn't accept diagnosis from earlier doctors but came to his own conclusions which I highly respected. He is always attentive, knowledgeable, and accurate with his diagnosis. He also tries to find solutions that do not necessarily include medication. He spends quality time with individuals. He answers any &nall questions sucinctly, while ensuring you understand the what, why & wherefores concerning your health and situation. I continue to recommend him to friends and family members who remain his patients. Many of us long-time patients followed him to his fairly new office on Sunset Blvd as did one of his staff (Sonja). I've seen him when I had excellent insurance, when I had none and now that I'm on Medicare. He's been sensistive to all 3 status levels & doesn't waste time, energy, effort or money following up your course of treatment. He does personalize your care often by telephoning to follow up labs or a course of treatment.

I was recently referred to a friend to Dr. Ott, who highly recommended him, calling him "brilliant". It was the very best doctor experience I have ever had. Before I could finish checking in at the front desk a nurse was already there waiting to take me to the patient room, so I had zero waiting time. By the time she took my weight and height, etc., it was no more than 10 minutes, at the most, before Dr. Ott came in. He then spent at least 45 minutes with me discussing my problem and taking down medical history. When he left the room I waited no more than five minutes for a nurse to come in to take blood. Then I went to radiology (only a few steps from the elevator) where I was, again, immediately seen. I have never in my life been seen so quickly or seen such an efficiently-designed office! If I had known going to the doctor could be so simple I think I would have gone long before. I love Dr. Ott!

My husband saw Dr. Ott for a terrible ongoing respiratory problem. This problem had been waxing and waning for almost 2 years but came to a horrible head in February. He saw a Pulmonolgist at Baylor but had no luck there in getting well. Ott did some breathing tests and ASTHMA popped out. Hubby has had ongoing sinus infection flares and this time it went south into his lower respiratory. For days he would try and sleep in the recliner and coughed so hard his ribs would ache. Dr. Ott did chest and sinus x-rays right there in the office. Hubby was placed on a strong antibiotic and cortisone and an inhaler and a nebulizer. I HAVE my hubby back. He is well now. Dr. Ott called our home TWICE to check on my hubby. Now, what doctor does this??? Thank You, Dr. Ott. God Bless You.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ott for fifteen years. He is very caring and very knowledgeable. I like the fact that he does not just prescribe medication without seeing if it is going to work for you. He is a really good doctor and he calls me at home or work occasionally to check up on me. You don't find doctors that will do that anymore. As i told his staff I have been with him longer than they have and I will be here I am not waiting and hour to see him anymore, schedule me for when he is ready to see me. At most now I only wait twenty-five minutes before they call me in.
