Dr. Sit is really nice and helpful. Receptionist can come off rude, but is really nice as well.

Expect to wait 45 minutes to an hour for your appointments. Dr. Sit is very nice however I do find that she is reluctant to refer to specialists and/or complete further investigations such as ordering tests. If you are well and healthy, Dr. Sit is a good family doctor but if you actually have illnesses or need investigations, I would stay clear of Dr. Sit OR advocate for further investigations/referral to specialists. Contrary to what others say about the receptionist, I find her very nice and I have never had any issues with her.

I always have to wait 1 to 1.5 hours before I get to see her and typically I don't really receive much feedback from her either

Lateness is always an issue when I see her. I've waited up until 2 hrs which is absolutely ridiculous, I used to have to take a half day off just because I never knew how long I would end up waiting. The worst part is: she's not late because she's behind in seeing clients, she's late because she schedules clients early and then strolls in about 1-1.5 hours later. After seeing that on several occasions, I couldn't stand it and switched family doctors.

been with dr. sit for quite a few years now. the receptionist is wonderful. wait times are long (expect an hour wait) - Dr.Sit appears to be overbooked. Despite having many years of experience under her belt, she seems to be very reluctant to order diagnostic tests and refer to specialists and tries to manage illnesses she may not be necessarily competent in addressing. She does spend the time to listen, which can be good. As a patient, I would really like to know what is wrong and address it in a timely manner before there are other complications. I have been going to walk in clinics more because I feel they are able to address my needs.

Understanding and patient, she has been my family doctor since I was in elementary school. She is a good listener and always assesses the situation carefully before any decisions. Personally I don't think she prescribes medicine unless it's necessary (which is good because then you don't waste money). The wait time can be up to an hour or less but I think it's always worth it, she gives the time you need when it's your turn.

She's quite rude and has no compassion or patience. She's also always late. My whole family has switched to another family doctor since moving to Canada.
