I have been seeing Dr Chau for several years. I have ear problems. I can easily get an middle and external ear problems. Dr. Chau has been on time all the time. His knowledge of ear infections, etc. allowed him to go in a path to solve my infections and keep my ears clean.

Exceptional surgeon, realistic but caring and reassuring. Wonderful office staff as well. Even with post surgical swelling, (septoplasty) I noticed a drastic improvement in my breathing. Post surgical pain was so minimal, that I took 2 extra strength Tylenol before bed once I returned home, and haven’t needed a pain reliever since. Plus, he had an awesome playlist that I “fell asleep” to on the operating table, which really helped in making me feel more relaxed and comfortable before going under.

I had been experiencing steadily worse hearing, visits to GP and other ENT's had not shown any causes or diagnosis. 5 minutes into my appt with Dr Justin Chau, i had a diagnosis and path forward. required surgery was expedited and the Follow up has been awesome and i thank Dr Chau's team for making life better.

Absolute best customer service I’ve ever received from a doctor. He’s street smart, explains on 5 minutes what other ENT couldn’t get across in 2 hours. Humourous and down to Earth. My confidence with my ear problem being well diagnosed is restored. I will bring all ear problems to this guy from this point forward

My experience with Dr. Chau is positive.

He is always on time for his appointments, the most you may have to wait past your appointment time is about ten minutes. You can tell he knows what he is doing and is knowledgeable. He could explain some things better to the patients but this could be because he knows his stuff so well that he may sometimes forget that others don't know it and need it to be explained to them. Regardless, if you ask him questions he will answer all of them fully.

His office staff are very good, friendly and helpful and they respond back when you leave them a message.

I believe he runs his office well and efficiently to be on time for his appointments and choose excellent office staff to support him.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Chau to anyone I care about.

Dr. Chau is the best ENT in Calgary. I've seen a few in the past. He immediately saw the reason for my hearing loss, a cholesteatoma. He spoke facing me, described options before us. He saved my hearing on one ear with a middle ear prothesis. The other ear together we decided a total mastoidectomy was best. Dr. Chau, answered my questions with honesty and I never felt rushed.

Suggested surgery, advised me that taste loss will come back after 6 months, hearing did not improve plus lost my taste thought 6 months passed, then suggesting to have hearing aide!! Did not get why suggested surgery if he knows that wont fix the problem?!
